the reason this is for the pistol is because its the only magfed weapon ingame

why is this a pistol replacement? shouldnt it be like,idk,a smg replacement?

You could also port the CV-47, the Counter Strike Source AK-47 with the charging handle on the left which would also be really cool if it's easier.

an zk-74su is a soviet weapon im pretty sure and it would fit the country

Serious question here. Why hasn't anyone made the Mandolarian IB-94 Pistol/blaster yet for HLA. It would be my go to pistol for sure. Love that gun and would love to try it out on this platform. Please, somebody make this MOD. Cad Banes LL-30 Blaster would be a nice MOD to check out as well.

i'd like to ask where or how could i learn how to make any type of custom weaponry for hla? not just pistols but something like that aug mod and this groza, i really hope if i get this source or tutorial i can spread the word so we can see more cool gun mods for hla

@Skaut69 I absolutely agree that compact, two-handed weapons are great for VR, which is why I made this. I plan on also including a Groza in my own VR game when I make one.

I also agree that having this gun in pistol slot by default is amazing. I can't imagine having it anywhere else. Two handed weapons are amazing in VR, especially those short ones.

In one recent map this gun is able to shoot full auto in burst mode. I have no idea if the profile was updated or this is just because of the map modification to the pistol profile. I never tried to update this weapon in workbench but I guess it's possible.

@Skyliner121 Trust me when I say that I literally had the exact same response to this when I first initially saw this, but after playing with it for a bit, I actually like that it replaces the pistol because of 2 things:

1. Its like a compacted version of a AUG, which I like the feel of, not a very big profile, but has the firepower of a firearm that does, Semi-auto with a 30-round mag. Best part is the pistol possesses the biggest ammo-reserve in the game at over 300 round so you will have plenty of bullets for this beast.

2. Since it replaces the pistol, you get it at the start of the game's campaign, while with the SMG,you have to go through more then half of the story before you get it.

Perfect! You made something Valve as gamedeveloper was not able to implement: TWO HANDED Weapons!

Why you replaced the nice pistol? The useless alien SMG is the better choice for replacement

@Mettle Meek, There are two things I have to say after playing with this for awhile:

1. I actually like using this instead of a pistol

(AKA Thank you for making this and sorry for my impulsive jump on the fact that this doesn't replace the SMG).

2. You may want to change how you hold the mags, because currently it's a bit tricky to load them into the gun.

Vector .45 ACP from Far Cry 3 would be a dream. Very short fast shooting sub machine gun. Actually would be great to have any two handed weapon. We don't have much choice in the game right now. Gameplay completely changed for me with this weapon. So appreciated !

I have only single fire mode, which is actually fine for my play style but wouldn't mind trying at full auto. Is there full auto mode option (switch) ?

I was hoping for mod/weapon like this. Two handed, short assault rifle. Long weapons don't work, look very well in VR, especially when Devs force you to hold them with one hand like in Doom VFR and Serious Sam (so bad).
Valve understand that with theirs weapon choices and this mod/weapon make perfect sense as well. weapon is quite long but the length goes to the back of the weapon and makes it quite short in front. Easy to handle and maneuver with it.
I think A4M1 AR is quite short as well and have crosshair attachment lined up with gun itself. Anyway it's very well done mod and I feel like playing whole game again with it. Big thank you !

@JCGemX Me and Paradox are working on an SMG replacement but we've run into some problems. For one, the game crashes when you try to reload it. But when we get that figured out, I do want to make a bunch of different assault rifles and SMGs as replacements for the Pulse SMG, including this one.

I mean Its cool don't get me wrong meek, I'm just curious if your gonna make an smg version of this.

Nice work! The only complaint I have is that it's kind of awkward to reload, but then again, I'm using WMR controllers.
