It shouldn’t. bodybags don’t reveal dead bodies for birds to see or eat. 🤷‍♂️ besides, the birds follow dead players. and dead animals. bodybags deletes the bodies I do believe.

Use to look at it as if it was a player. I use the Next- Days mod and they still work on the mods npcs. Maybe im just crazy.

I don’t think I ever had them spawn over AI npcs. probably a condition in the script not being met. Check the logs when am AI is killed

Anyone else having an issue with birds not spawning and flying over recent updates of Expansion ai? Or do I have something going on within my server I need to look further into?

If that helps...when i am starting rented server...it does not create flying birds folder in profiles. Local does.

I am running local server with deerisle and after fresh setup all is working (cant find ANYTHING in any of the logs using "flying" word). However when i am lunching rented server with the same config, all 59 mods are working except flying birds. Server is not even broadcasting that mod to luncher. So mod stays as not loaded in the luncher. I was triple checking all. I was checking crash logs, script logs and all that i was able to view. Not even 1 word "flying" anywhere.

There should be logs in script logs talking about flying birds. If there isn’t, then you’re not installing it properly. even if it wasn’t functioning properly, there would be flying bird logs

Mod was working fine on Livonia, but server dont want to show that mod on Deerisle mods list. Folder and key on place, bat file looks ok with ;@Flying Birds! entry at the end. Pls. help.

look at the name of the @folder. And use that. `-mod=“@mod1; @mod2” `
also, delete the FlyingBirds folder in the server profile. And when the mod loads again it will create a new config.

Hi, I'm having issues when this mod when its on my server. My server command line is

For some reason when I add @Flying Birds! the server does not start, removing the mod fixes this issue.

It’s been awhile but I believe it is ‘ticks’ so 300,000 ticks is 5 mins.

Hey @Zedmag. I am using your workshop on two servers for month (not to say years) now. I love it! Unfortunately, I still ;-) do not understand the delay values in the JSON file. It says "300,000 is 5 minutes", but "seconds x 1000" equals the delay. So, what is the default value of 12000? Is it 12 seconds? If so, why is the default value for "remove" the same value? Sorry for asking, but I really struggle with that ;-) Thanks in advance!

these are just decoration and indicators of dead things. You can not shoot or kill them. No they do not drop feathers

Check your logs after killing a player or animal outside. but yes. Normal installation like any other mod. Client just subscribes to it.

Read the description. I’m not adding types. I assume you are using these as ambient birds and want to place them manually. And that’s fine. You can add them to types yourself. the names are listed in the deacriotion

Youre an idiot. It has ZERO performance benefit to either. There is nothing you can say that will convince me to allow repacks of any of my mods.

Repacking helps with the server load (mostly on the client side tho), even if modders refuse to believe it. I have experienced it myself. It's useful for the servers that run a lot of mods, I'm talking 80-100+, that's also why you'll see more ppl asking to repack on mods that don't have as frequent of updates, those mods are the easiest to repack, same for compatibility mods.
