Hi, your mod adds "Capital Omicron Fortified" shield to Bloodhound (mod of deni71 / alexalsp named Huntership): it's right?

Hey everyone, ever since making this mod shields for capital ships have been introduced into the base game and after initial testing look quite OK to me, hence I will be discontinuing this mod for now.

Instead I will be updating Stronger Ship Hulls mod to be used with the in-game capital shields for best experience.

Please do let me know if in your opinion in-game captial shields require some rebalancing.

Perhaps an all in one package would be in order for people that want the "Complete Nidaren Overhaul" :)

Hey. Just updated Ledda Construction Shop and will be playing the game for next few weeks. I plan to update Shields and Hulls as well, given there is still the need for it. Will try to find out during my playthrough.

oh also do these passive shields affect how the captial ship mounted shields work? like a passive layer on top of the layer provided by the mounted mk1-3's for cap ships?

Is it still vulnerable to another capital ship bumping into it basically removing the entire point of shields?

Hey there - nope they are integrated into the hull and not destructible. It is to prevent the bug when it asks you to destroy them during the assault.

Is it possible that your added shields get destroyed? My Succulus shows 6/7 Forcefields and i cant repair it (engineer/yard)... hullshield dont reload but still there (could load em with the welding laser mod)

2nd for having it be independent of (LSH if it technically isn't already). I definitely enjoy the shielding changes but I don't use this due to the requirement for Large Ship Hulls. If I launch a boat load of nova drones, I want it dead or at least hurting.

Seems to work great in my recent restart and appreciated. Only thing I've noticed is the construction vessels from DeVries I've been using are still unshielded. The other shipyards have been busy or hostile so I haven't been able to check if they have working shields or not. All other ships I've encountered appear to be working correctly.

Hello everyone, my mods should work witout problems in the new version of X:R. I will be releasing an update as soon as the Release Candidate Patch 2.0 versions mature a bit. (That will also included shields and hulls for new ships added)

Hmmm, well the error msg was that it needed updating, but oddly enough, i restarted the game (after posting the comment and after already restarting), and it suddenly works....no clue why but i aint complaining xD, thanks for the reply anyway, sorry to have bothered ya :)

Hey Mister,

I just checked and the mods do not show red with the newest game update. Are you sure you have the pre-requisite mod installed? Please, let me know what the red message says. It usually pop up if you do not have the required extensions in place.

IMPORTANT: If you have been using unpacked mod files and/or Nexus mod version, please DELETE the mod folder content after re-subscribing.

Hey Guys, should you encounter the problem where shields do not appear after you start your game - please use the Nexus version of my mod [www.nexusmods.com]. It has all the unpacked files that work just fine.
I need to find out what casues the mod "blindness" for some files during the upload and transformation into cat/dat here at Steam Workshop.

Strange, same problem like Admiral_S. The hull mod works fine, but the shields never show up. I tried unsubscribing & deleting all other mods, installed Hull & Shield mods, started new (free) game -> No shields. I also tried to install in two steps (activate Hull mod first, save, then activate Shield mod), no dice. I even switched my game to English (using German normally), but that didn't help as well.
Very odd, will continue trying to figure this out.

I just subscribed both from Steam and it worked with no problems. Only thing that comes to my head is for you to check that both mods you have subscribed from Steam and not for example - one from steam and one from nexus.
You can also try: 1) Unsubscribe in Steam 2) Clean your extensions folder completely 3) Resub then check in game

I have 1.30 and the Hull-Mod, too...

I can switch these mod on or off, it will have no effect...

I have deleted the files and reloaded... no effect...

I have turned off all other mods (except UFO)... no effect...


It will not work on my game :-(
