After I get the transformation, my console is always reporting an error:

might cause less issues if instead of replacing hearts with batteries that heal you, it just made hearts also charge your active item

@Mario Javier Landa I think I made hearts only morph into batteries when you walk close to them(just so it wouldnt screw over coop players), so dark bum should work fine

how this works with dark bum?

Big fan of this, it seemed odd that there were lots of electric/technology themed items but didn't have a transformation like the poops n vermin.

Nice! Maybe you could work on Rusty Battery still and give it some other kind of effect and put it out as another mod! :-D BTW, really loving your work as of late. I love new transformations in particular. Great job!

@a little trolling I've made it so while transformed you can now pick up batteries when your health isn't full or if you dont have an active item. Since batteries heal you I dont see in any way how the player is "basically fucked"

in terms of it being detrimental you literally can only pick up soul/sin hearts in practical terms, and rotten hearts if you're lucky. if you're like maggy who benefits from battery items since you're not gonna use your spacebar that often you're basically fucked

Ive decided to scrap the Rusty Battery idea. In the latest update, you can now pick up batteries when you don't have an active item, or when your active item is fully charged, if you aren't at full health. This means that you can always pick up batteries to heal even and prevents softlocking.

How could it softlock players without the item? Oh... I think I see. So the game won't let you pick up batteries if you don't have an active item to charge up. That is concerning. Could you maybe make it an undropable pocket item? I don't know how that would play with characters that come with pocket items from the start though.

@solamon77 The Rusty Battery has ~20% chance to drop a micro battery when used. It does indeed give you a new item pedestal, which could be a bit too useful for d6/perthro, but I'd rather not softlock players. Ill look into only giving it to players who don't have a chargable item

Can you describe the rusty battery a bit better? Also, I'm a little concerned this might be a bit too imbalanced. Any new item pedestal can be rerolled into a more useful item. I worry it might be too much of a boost to any character with a d6.

New update just dropped:
-Getting the transformation now gives you a new active item: The Rusty Battery! This will ensure that you have a way to pick up batteries and heal yourself
-Added a new Challenge: Energized! It gives you the transformation from the start so you can test it out

That's true. I appreciate that you have a mind towards balancing your mods correctly. The Energized transformation is pretty powerful to begin with.

That's true, but my point still stands. Kids drawing's ONLY use is to be part of the guppy transformation. Bob's Bladder and Mom's Lock/Pearl/Locket don't contribute to their respective transformations since they have other purposes, and the same goes for the battery trinkets. I may add it as an option in the future if it is wanted

That's actually not exactly true anymore. The Kid's Drawing trinket counts towards the Guppy transformation as long as it's held. Once dropped, you lose your Guppy.

No, the titan battery does not, nor does AAA Battery or Hairpin. Trinkets don't normally count towards transformations(unless the trinket is ONLY used for the transformation), so I decided not to include them as transformation items.

Thanks :) Blue Baby and similar characters don't benefit from the healing from batteries. But turning those useless red hearts into usable batteries is still very useful!

Holy sheet this is good, is the regeneration effect just wasted with characters like blue baby?

@dragonrage519 Thanks for the feedback. Im having a lot of difficulty trying to make it chance based but I'll try to get it done. What do you mean its an instant death for Bethany? She always has an active item and it lets her generate a ton of wisps while healing. I might make it so a random active item pedestal spawns when you get the transformation so you always have a way to pick up batteries, but if you bought 3 battery items you should probably already have an active item

one suggestion, make it a chance instead of guaranteed, as otherwise its practically an instant death for Bethany, and makes it almost impossible to heal with most other characters
