Fuel can be added by copying (ctrl+C) and pasting (ctrl+V) one of the passing cargo ships and manually removing the uranium from the reactors and placing it into the reactor of your ship (Leave Uranium in reactor of parent ship or uranium will not be copied) To my knowledge, this can be done as many times as you want. Alternatively, you could also place the first batch of uranium into a drifting (but stationary) cargo box and copy and pasting that. This will reduce the number of useless cargo ship copies on the map that will probably need to be deleted.
