- Certain items that are dropped on boats will still somewhy be affected by currents
- Items that loot on water will often start to move in a nearby current even if it's still meters away
- And the land thing of course.
I've definitively seen roads on water before but this is more frequent with currents sadly, especially where land has choke points with water left and right closeby.
Still very enjoyable and playable despite those.

Either way great mod, really makes early sea going a bit easier for me.

Oof, thanks for the report. The generation in this mod has always been a bit wonky and something I want to rework sometime.
I'm unsure when I'll get to it, and it's difficult to design, but know that it's on my mind! Again thanks for the report.
What is out of date? I cant really do anything with no information.
As some are saying the currents double back and don't loop sometimes but it seems to be expected behaviour when compared to the screenshots.
Also if someone wonders, no, the currents don't connect or get ner Moon Quay Island, as those are not connected to the mainland with coastal (shallow) waters. To find the Moon Quay Island you should search in each corner of the map.
I find myself getting stuck on the opposite side of the boat when getting sucked along, making me unable to control my boat until I slow down somehow.
Also one that just doubles back on itself.
I don't imagine either of these things are intentional.

I'm aware of what the issue now, unfortunately this might take a while to fix. I have no date yet for when I'll be complete.
Thank you so much! I have indeed found it's a issue specific for clients. The crash seems extremely bizarre and i'm having small trouble trying to find the root issue but I'll be working on it. Thank you for the bug report again.
So I tested a lot of things and even deactivated all of my client mods, and still getting a crash
as you can see in this Screenshot [paste.pics].
I also checked if it was a thing about having local or cloud saves, as I always use cloud saves for my worlds but this other Screenshot [paste.pics] was made using local save and still crashed.
I honestly thought it was due to the new update and the new Moon Quay Island but you said it's working for you so idk really.
It was a default world with caves. Other than that as I said, just a normal world with no server sided mods, only some clients.
The crash ocurred while trying to create a new world, and again when trying to enter the same world after the crash. The game also lists the mod as the one crashing, it'd be cool to play with this mod but for some reason is chrashing me.
I'm actually surprised it's working for you, I will try the new update and inform if it's still crashing.
Thank you so much, unfortunately I wasn't able to reproduce this crash for whatever reason even with the old tile changes. I still updated to the new tile system but I do not believe this will fix your crash.
If there is any more info you could provide like any special world settings (branches/loop) or maybe you're running a caves world it would be extremely helpful to me.
Here Crash Log [paste.pics] I tried creating a world with no Server Mods other than this one. Apart from that I had some Client Mods that worked perfectly fine

Heya, i'm sorry to be so late, I didn't see your comment. Does the issue still persist? It may be a problem on the Boat Rotation mod's end rather than this one.

I would really like to do that, I actually wanted to make the currents branch out into different paths, but world gen is verrry tough and a bit limited on what I can do, so it's a real challenge. Still absolutely something I'd like to do some day though.
