This mod causes guard npcs to spawn naked. is there a patch for that?

I was having issues with some guard NPCs spawning naked, and after some unpacking and testing, I've narrowed it down to this mod. The guard.npctype.patch file that adds Familiar equipment entries ends up erasing all the other equipment entries for every other race.

Accidentally blamed it on the original Familiars mod, but this is the one that adds guards.
