this animation was how i found out that the mac-10 does, in fact, have those fabric hand stops. really neat animation!

@🍔Burger Wrangler🍔 The strap is actually a grip, not just a decoration. It was designed to help control recoil by giving the user a way to hold the muzzle down without bringing their hand too close to it. However, because the Silenced SMG reuses the UZI's animations, the grip is never actually used. CS:GO's animations have the character using it correctly, though.

I Like the reloading and all of the stuff that isn't the Survivor for some reason holding that little fabric thing at the bottom that is just there for design and is not meant to be a grip of any kind like seriously please a version where they hold it properly thank you :)

Only complaint woukd be theres no bolt pull on a empty reload but thems the brakes...

huh, ive heard about issues like this before before but i wouldnt know how to fix it at the moment. you can try and see if there is other people experiencing that issue with other addons and see if they have found a solution to it online.

Dont know if ur active her fox man, but this mod doesnt work for me anymore.
It used to at some point, I get ingame and it doesnt load even though its enabled.
Alot of relaunches and resubbing and im still at the same spot. Its a shame because this is probably the best reanim for this weapon.

Anything I should be looking at?

I can't wait for you to get to the rest of L4D2's arsenal especially the Assault Rifles

You need to turn on the addon features in your "addonconfig.cfg" file in your "cfg" folder. (1 is the default value so change it to 0). Only works if you're the local host of the server.

and of course, it doesn't work in versus mode

i would have animated it in more detail with pulling the bolt back but since there is only one reload activity for it i decided to go with a reload that's not empty

I'm surprised you skipped animating the bolt part and instead proceed to switching mags then immediately shoot...

I hand animated the strap there are no physics involved, I also didn't know what that material was so while animating I just winged it xD
As for the folding stock I wasn't paying much attention to what it does when someone fires it.
But yeah thank you a bunch for actual feedback I can work with, unlike most comments from others. I'll try to keep that in mind for the future

Just as a point of feedback, canvas straps are actually pretty stiff, so I can’t imagine them flopping around that much. I feel like it’d also be worth adding some spring physics to the folding stock while firing.
That aside, the off-canter foregrip looks great and I love the attention to detail on the reload and general weapon positioning.

no need to get all angry at it, you don't have to use it if you don't like it. and the reason there is not bold racking is because well I didn't feel like animating it honestly I would have animted it if there was empty reloads for all the weapons and not just the pistols.

why did you removed the god for saken motherfucking bolt racking after reloading?

it does not pull the shutter, but other things are good
