Btw, do you grant this army an ambush defence? Or may be there is a way to make it invulnerable to direct attacks (which is even better IMO)?
@Doc_Ginger That is trivial to implement, but too OP for player factions.
@Phukface Ayyyy. Always adding more sandbox mechanics. I'm getting there.
The more sandbox, the better.
I use "recruit defeaded lords"-mod, so i never thought about using the "revive faction from ruins"-mod. But this is a nice idea! Often times running into problems, where all faction allive are kind of established in the great wheel of global diplomacy, so it's a pain to vassalise them.
Thank you for your ideas! Appreciate it very much! =)
And thank you for your content, I will look them up, using "all diplomatic options"-mod all the time, anyways!! ;-D
In my resently started ME campaign, i play Malus, the "Dark Phoenix"-Mod enabled.
Resettling a Ruin near Naggarond, conquering the dragon isles, selling Hag Greaf, deleting all my armies + black ark in south-east, declaring multiple wars with mung, har ganeth, grond, etc and then backstap Malekith when he leaves his base.
Possibly my greatest ambitions i had so far. When I reach a greater power-stage, i start using vassels and try tolet them do the work for me.
It's quite challenging, and a ton of fun. My goal is to re-balance the order-powers a bit. Lothern is quite a nut to crack so they don't allways confederating and overrunning the map big time. I found multiple answers on the workshop, but most of them cripple the faction-mechanics too much for my taste.
Revive Faction From Ruins - Revive dead factions, by searching the ruins that they started owning. You pick how much money to give them for an army, and whether they are alone, an ally, or vassal.
Chaos Is Unbreakable - Chaos' armies will never lose leadership.
I'm a Beastmen main. They're shitty, so I made mods to give them proper mechanics, a wider roster, and a fix to the chaos invasion script so they can have vassals.
It's fuckin' amazing. My current strategy is to change my initial spawn to Lustria. Which is a nightmare for Beastmen. Ungors vs Saurus Warriors? With my Better AI 2 spinoff? And my Aggressive AI mod? Fuck me.
So after carving out an existence, I retreat, resurrect Ss'ildra Tor as they like chaos corruption. I fight on all sides with them, against Orcs, High Elves, Lizardmen, and Humans, to keep them alive. Then Chaos comes.
"It's gonna be super important for the chaos invasion, which I jacked up to spawn 150 armies."
I modded my WH to some extreme extend and allways am searching for spice it up with additional events and crises. And like to play around with vassels and stuff. What's your plan? Have some neighbour on the front for your first line of defense against chaos, buffing them up with additional forces for a united front?
What was the purpose to choose low-tier units and low numbers? Would you like to share your ideas?? =)
