@7T Primal Wolf, You could easily copy this mod and edit it. I did and set the yield and power efficiency multipliers to 1 so that they would only increase speed. I use the 20x Arc Reactor mod, so it powers stuff ok.

For reference here is where this mod is saved on my computer:
H:\Games\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\244850\2476913423
You can right click on the game in your library and click 'browse local files' to get sorta close.

And here is where you need to copy it:
C:\Users\<YourUserNameHere>\AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Mods

Be sure to rename the folder(2476913423 in this case) to something you'd recognize as this mod, and be sure to only use your copy of the mod or the original might override it. Your mod will be up top and have a house icon next to it when selecting mods in-game, and the workshop mod will have a steam icon next to it.

Open up 3n1_Upgrade_Cubes.sbc in your copy of the mod and edit the multipliers for each block you want. Be sure to save after your done.

Not sure if this is still being maintained, but it appears that the modules are actually increasing the power *consumed*, not the power efficiency. BuildInfo lists it as PowerEfficiency, but affixing it to an upgrade slot increases rather than decreases the power consumed by the building. For example, 8x Hypers on a Refinery, which totals to 1000% power efficiency, increases the power consumption from 560 kW to 5.6 MW.

For anyone wondering what the difference between V1.0 and V2.0 are, 1.0 uses rank 1 ores to craft with Gold (Superconductors) needed to craft the advanced and hyper variant. 2.0 requires ALL ores to craft special upgrade components with the cheap, advanced, and hyper cubes just requiring more upgrade components for each level. This means Uranium and Platinum are required to use even the cheap version of the cube so honestly there's no reason to even use V2 when you can apparently get the same speed from either one and V1 can be used as soon as you unlock them. This should have been added to the description....
