Yea, I was able to finish the track and all. It just feels like you're missing something with the inverted landing. Doesn't feel like the proper way to clear an obstacle.

And you did get the feel of confusion and disorientation with being sent into random space-realm and such. The thing is, that doesn't really mesh well with something that's supposed to be a racing track. Particularly the lack of clear reference for where the second bit of track drops off.

I think that could work in a different sort of track. I generally dislike obstacles where you're garunteed to fail the first time unless you blindly do something random and have it work out. Which is what some parts feel like.

I do look forwards to trying out the improved version of thins and seeing how it turns out.

@TinFoilMkIV, while your points are valid on flow will be improved in the future your two biggest pitfalls were the Nitrox jump where you land upside-down but angled which will consistently bounce you onto your wheels. You self destructed before even attempting to land on the road as you saw your car upside-down. (In addition, the game has a system that will flip you if you are on your roof for a few seconds even with aerial thrusters disabled). The drill is getting more clarity with text to hint at what to do; so thank you for letting me know about that. I don't think being transported to a random point in space is supposed to feel intuitive, no road and all.

I do like the crazy floating shapes and some of the other props. But the track doesn't play very well, or consistently.

I agree that the level doesn't flow well. Even when slowing down, the track is so twisty at points it feels far too easy to go careening off into space, and often happens right after a section where you can very easily go full speed.

The track also suffers from some hard to read segments where it's not clear where you're even trying to get to, or if there's some hidden 'correct' path.

two most confusing points are the space ship looking thing, with the arrow pointing to what looks like an opening in the side of it, that isn't. And the booster into the spiral track, that seems to launch you towards the next checkpoint but totally upside down without a reliable way to recover.

Also the space segment, while cool, is really unintuitive.

Yeah the main issue is just that it doesn't flow very well. Forcing the player to slow down usually doesn't feel very good in Distance especially since most of the game encourages you to hold boost for as long as you possibly can. Good luck on making your next tracks!

@Tribow, if you're careful you can drive all of the twisted road while not boosting. It's disabled for difficulty (and accuracy to acceleracer cars). Which seems to be exactly what you ran into. Very nice work on skips for a great time! If the design of overcoming obstacles isn't as fun as getting into a speedy flow I will steer away from it in the future. I appreciate the input!

This road is way too twisty for the car to be able to driver on it with the thrusters disabled. I don't see why it's disabled to begin with.
