I understand people get emotional about accuracy, especially when it involves their own country, its normal. Ive been doing this a while now and I have learnt by not being emotional myself I can see the point people are trying to make more clearly.

you don't have to thank me. the only reason I knew was becouse my history teacher told me and that was the third one to tell our class about WW2.
It seams that people just keep forgetting it. Even in the netherlands most people think we fought really bad.
And frankly I think my post was a on the whining side, so I really appreciate you taking it as it was intended and not like an insult or something :D

First, I really like the map great job
Second, your description negates the fact that the germans planned to take the Netherlands in one day. (like Denmark for example)
And when that didn't happen they bombed one of our major cities.
It is, even though it is a short time period, actually a great accomplishment even more so if you include the fact that the weapons of the dutch army where terribly outdated and lacking artillery.
so maybe you should change it like this:
Holland surrendered JUST 6 DAYS later ----> The Netherlands surrendered after 6 days (due to the german blitzkrieg tactics.... etc.
ps it's not just holland it's the Netherlands, Holland is just the land belonging to the provinces Noord/Zuid Holland.

Sounds like a good idea... Im trying to get City Blocks 3 finished at the moment... I took a break and updated Die Flankierende... I have City Blocks 4 at the design stage but that can go on hold... I will think about it and I will look to see if anyone else has done something similar and also take a look at what the world builders has (because its very limited) in order for a decent missle base to be built... Just thinking through a basic plan to start. Would it be an attack and defend senario or the entire map would be a base. (Im leaning towards the entire map being a missle base and factory... What do you think? What does anyone think?

lol... Not all bridges can be blown for the hold out tactic. I had thought of that and only the inner rim bridges can be blown. Leaving vital points still open. Now that engineers repair bridges too it is not as clear cut as you say. There are several tactics you could use on this map in order to gain an advantage. However when attacking the HQs the map also puts the attacker at a disadvantage or defender at an advantage. The cost to the attacker can be very high for the price of victory.

yea of course we surrendered 6 days later we shhoot with old cannons they with tanks we have ww1 planes they had meschersmitts we had semi automatic riffles they had machine guns better thst us and we had 1 tank but this map is awesome if you just blow up all bridges and build defenses then you can hold out for long

Joesphq530 Try the 1st map in the series City Blocks (detailing on that map is even higher than this map) with no seperation. I am sure you appreciate not all maps are for everyone and City Blocks 3 will be out in the next few weeks. I do have to vary the maps I make otherwise they would all be the same. great map although i didnt like how i couldnt get my armor into the city blocks, other than than very nice detail and such
