Love the city, but I seem to have an issue where the big armorshop near the tower barracks simply won't let me walk in. ...Except for this one time, but when I got in...I couldn't get out. x;D ...I had to unsub from the mod and import to get the place to despawn and actually let me leave. Will now be subbing again and hopefully staying away from that place...

It seems like if there is more than one mod that edits a town, things go very badly. I disabled one other mod that I was using, and things are much better.

Hey, I have ~313 mods, so I'm not sure. From your response, it seems like load order could be a problem, though I don't quite know how to force a load order with mods that are steam and non-steam. Other than a few town mods not working like I had hoped, the modded game is awesome, so I'll try working through the issues that I am having and maybe make a patch if I can determine which mod is doing it. Hello Leowulf, and sorry for your inconveniences. Where you also using mods that add custom npcs to the city? I've had problems with those kinds of mods, as they end up overlaping vanilla cities with custom ones. It can be solved with a FCS patch, though it would require knowing what mod was causing the issue

Looks good in concept, but there are fences and walls where they should not be and shops and houses that overlap. I tried cleaning it up a bit in my game, but it was far more work than I wanted to invest.

Looks great. Would just be nice to add more shops that sell grains that have already been processed. I'm trying to make a bar in town, and although I can get mods that let you build a silo on a roof, you can't do that with modded grains.

no its ok. thanks for fixing the shop issue though, getting money around this place is easy because of all the skinners (skimmers? idk) killing people, plus stealing is simple enough for money. you should look into redoing blister hill next. would be interesting to see what you do with it :)

Hello bacon-Chewtoy, I've moved the mechanical shop to the eastern part of the city, for easier access, and also added some platforms to the stormhouse and the watchtower on the western hill. I couldnt add a cheaper house tho, idk how that could be done apart from adding a ruined one (which are in general cheapier but require rebuilding), and player owned buildings cant be added to cities by default (as far as i know). I could however add another start with enough money to buy a house at start, if you wish so. Its named "Bark empire citizen" because there is a vanilla start called "empire citizen" that spawns you in sho battai with the same clothing, weapon, money and faction relations as this one. Sorry if the title was kind of misleading, it was only refering to the vanilla start of the UC.

ALSO, i started with the bark citizen start and it would be cool if maybe you could make it where you start with a house of decent size already? idk if its possible to do this, but idk how im a "citizen" when im a homeless squatter camping outside the walls lol. maybe make a certain house in paticular more cheap? great city overhaul btw

hey do you think you can fix a issue with the only mechanical shop being literally on a hill and thus the stairs are too short for theplayer to get onto? was loving the idea of living here but i cant buy the stuff i need to build in my house :( maybe its a issue on my end but can you look into it?

P.P.S.: please consider adding "Before" captions to the screenshots for context, just to make your future users fully aware that they are there just for comparison, not depicting an alternate empty city :)

Thank you for the quick reply, MasterSteve343! Wow, the default city looks so barren, what you did seems to transform Bark into a thriving coastal port! Downloaded it, and will leave a rating once I get to explore the city :)

P.S.: it seems like I am already addicted, but I'm coping by having some videos of Kenshi in the background through my work day P

Hello Fahrräder!! I've added 5 vanilla photos of Bark. This city is at the most north-eastern part of the map, in the great desert. Kenshi Its a harsh world, but it has an unique beauty. Have fun! but, try not to get too adicted to it ;)

Thanks you, pgames-food! It can be added to an existing one, the start that this mod adds is just in case you want to start a new game in this place. No changes to world states and unique characters has been done, so it should be compatible with other mods that doesnt redesign this city's layout.
