Compatible with Plumbing by Slayer?
Aragon  [author] 21 Jun @ 3:18am
It only works properly in the b41, in the b42 there are still technical problems due to changed mechanics.

Did vanilla metal drum ever get supported to be usable?
ttr  [author] 12 Jun @ 6:20am
connect it to water barrel above (vanilla method) - you can't connect to pipe directly
Kıdemli Ayısı 11 Jun @ 2:03pm

pipe wrench does not work.

a "must have mod" for a long game run. Good job!
life quality mod!
Hardtryslasher 23 May @ 1:11pm
It worked fine, until i harvested all the plants. then i sow all new ones, and watered the fields to the right amount, but the pipes will not water these fields, they still water the strawberries from the first harvest, but not the second. any ideas? have tryed to disconnect the pipes from the barrels and fields.....

@Psykaitic
As said (many times before) ) already it can be installed midgame any time.
;-)
Psykaitic 17 May @ 4:42am
Does this require a fresh restart? Or can it be installed on an already existing save?
Yanagii_ 16 Mar @ 4:01pm
is this compatible with the Mo Crops Mod?

@Matthew There is a base-game bug that I ran into that the same thing happens. Here are two potential causes

I need this for 42 plz
阿珍 23 Feb @ 3:58am
Can you make the B42 version
Matthew 14 Feb @ 5:59am
@ttr i tried that but for example washing machine says there is no water source
Aragon  [author] 13 Feb @ 10:55pm
@i14d142
Carrots and radishes need a maximum of 75% water. If the water level rises to 100%, for example due to rain, these plants become sick, drown and die. A roof built over them prevents additional watering from rain.
This mechanic is unfortunately illogical and vanilla default.
豬毛毛 13 Feb @ 8:42pm
Thank you for the life-saving mod!
But i'm confused about the part that reads "Roof should be also build, so plants will not overflow and die from too much water", how does not building roof lead to overflowing?
ttr  [author] 9 Feb @ 11:54am
Washing machines/sinks can be connected by vanilla method - they need to be in room and connected to water source (water collector) that is above and moved by 1 tile.
Matthew 9 Feb @ 11:46am
my washing machine wont get any water from a pipe that is above it
Aragon  [author] 27 Jan @ 11:49am

Will the possibility of watering using a well be added?

You don't know how much I miss this mod. But I understand that to be fixing over and over again the mod for developer changes is an annoying problem. :spiffo:

I added the MOd to an existing World. I Craftred the Pipes and put them next to a few Barrels full of Water but it does not seem tp work. The Barrels dont lose any Water

when PZ stable will be, not planning update now.
When PZ41 beta was, mod api did change resulting me fixing this mod 3-4 times during beta.

Give lag with RV_Interior and cars.
Aragon  [author] 17 Dec, 2024 @ 3:53am
@pabluchiellindo
This mod only recognizes and supports the plants that are in this game by default. And now with the upcoming update b42 a lot will change again, new plants will be added and maybe new mechanics.
We will have to wait and see what will change and how the new farming system works.
But even then this mod will probably continue to only support the default plants.
pabluchiellindo 16 Dec, 2024 @ 10:41pm
Aragon you made mi day so many times with this mod, i love, but it turns out that its not compatible with the snake mod pack beacuse it doesnt give water to the plants of this mod, what can i do about it??
ttr  [author] 15 Dec, 2024 @ 12:36pm
no craft skills needed.
metal pipe, hammer and screwdriver.
stalvan 14 Dec, 2024 @ 7:18pm
Do I need a certain metal work level to craft a pipe? I have 2 saves 1 with level 2 metal. But neither of them allows me to craft a pipe.

Thank you for the kind words. :)

I learned about this mod from Mr. Brollow, can I just say, thank you for making such a genuinely handy and helpful mod? Because zamn, this will be so helpful when I wanna do farming.
SunGod 9 Dec, 2024 @ 6:32am
@Aragon
Follow-up... looks like it finally updated. From time pipes were connected to full water collector until it started watering was maybe 1+ hours realtime.
ttr  [author] 9 Dec, 2024 @ 6:06am
with default sandbox settings it's every 5h in game hours.
if smart-pipes are enabled (by default) it will slowly pre-fill water every those 5h until optimal value is reached; if you disable smart-pipes, it will keep water levels, so if you never pre-filled it will be 0.

most people do make mistake when connecting barrels by not laying pipe towards barrel.
Aragon  [author] 9 Dec, 2024 @ 5:58am
@SunGod
I don't know if you have smart pipes enabled, try watering the fields once and see if the water level remains stable afterwards (assuming the barrels are full). After half an hour, the connected fields should normally have been checked at least once and watered again if necessary.
SunGod 9 Dec, 2024 @ 5:53am
@Aragon
Can you give a better idea how long that "regular interval" may be? It's definitely not a moment. I've laid pipes out and even after half an hour of realtime it's not watering my crops from (square) rain collectors. Seems I'm not the only person running into this.

I know it's worked in the distant past, but even with full barrels and properly laid pipes, my crops are bone dry.
