@SpeedyCat
- As I said before, I don't know. The altitude layers are really annoying to work with no matter which one I test it with. It'll take some time to work out, I'm sorry.

"when i place these on top of tables, end tables, dressers, etc. the decorations are being drawn under the furniture instead of on top of them, any idea what conflict could be causing this?"

I am also having this issue. I did not start a new game with the mod and I tried placing a new piece of furniture after the mod was installed and it still did it.

@ElysianEcho
- Odd, they've never done that for me before in any playthrough O.o Then again, when they changed the rendering layers and stuff in 1.5, maybe it messed with stuff. Odd. It won't be a conflict, it'll be the altitude layers being an annoying piece of shit as usual. I'll look into it but I'm not sure which one I can even use.

@Ferny
- No, publish it. My version can simply be one for people that don't use the progression series :)
ferny 10 Sep @ 10:20am
@Erin I'll hold off for now then I guess
Erin  [author] 10 Sep @ 10:19am
@Ferny
- Depends on how I end up doing it.
ferny 10 Sep @ 9:55am
@Erin You mean its own mod or like packed in this
Erin  [author] 9 Sep @ 4:18pm
@ferny
- As a note I will likely be making a props patch myself to release separately. :) I just haven't gotten around to it.
ferny 9 Sep @ 10:26am
For those of you looking for the prop patch, this mod will be converted into a prop patch for Progression: Aesthetics shortly. I updated this mod to 1.6 so I could get on that.

Beautiful!
Erin  [author] 27 Aug @ 11:58pm
@sanityscraps
- they didnt make it impossible, they made it easier to handle and filter the reports they get.

I also cannot say any further regarding your issue without at least a hugslib log so I can see if it's a mod conflict like Sarg said.
Sarg Bjornson  [author] 27 Aug @ 10:51pm
"the Vanilla Expanded guys made it impossible for dumbasses like me to report bugs"

Filling a form, the true intelligence test.

Anyway, you have a mod conflict, and none of the two mods is the cause.
sanityscraps 27 Aug @ 3:27pm
So I don't know if this is an issue with this mod or with Vanilla Furniture Expanded, but the Vanilla Expanded guys made it impossible for dumbasses like me to report bugs. There's a layering issue; decorations built on top of furniture show up under the furniture.
Erin  [author] 26 Aug @ 3:33am
@LetTheMossReclaimYou
- I run 350 mods and still don't get issues because of tab sorting lol. But anyway, we'll see. Vanilla doesn't have a props menu and I haven't managed to make it work with VE props yet. There's also a big props patch by Ferny that I believe has this mod in it, so :)

@RiscoUK
- huh. I didnt see that in testing but ill check it out when I have time. Swamped with work right now.
RiscoUK 25 Aug @ 12:42pm
Dear Erin,
Thank you very much for your wonderful mods — they really make my colony feel cozy and like home! I have been using your mods in versions 1.4 and 1.5, and everything worked perfectly. However, after happily installing your mod for version 1.6, I unfortunately ran into a bug: the decoration textures are displayed behind the textures of furniture objects (such as nightstands, dressers, etc.), so only the upper part of the decorations is visible. At the same time, your “Japanese Decorations” mod works perfectly. Could you please advise what might be causing this issue and how I can fix it?
LetTheMossReclaimYou 25 Aug @ 12:08pm
Tab sorting allows you to do some fuckery, but the bigger issue is that with even semi-large modlists, it's very easy to run into situations where your tabs cover 3/4ths of the screen when active
Erin  [author] 25 Aug @ 8:28am
@Morton
- There's already ways to handle this and it's just using the tab sorting mod, as that does far more and sorts everything else and you can manually change whatever you want. In vanilla there isn't a "props" menu. There's the VE Props mod, but I don't have a patch for that yet.
LetTheMossReclaimYou 25 Aug @ 1:17am
Yeah, seconding Morton's suggestion.
Morton 22 Aug @ 2:08am
Hello, since 1.6 is out is there any chance the items could go to props menu instead of furniture? I wish vanilla rimworld menus were just overhauled so they don't cover the entire screen ;-;

Yay - now my kittens have a cat tower again
Erin  [author] 20 Aug @ 4:33am
1.6 update is live :) Thanks to Ferny for doing it!
Erin  [author] 10 Aug @ 9:11am
@Nymeria
- At some point
Nymeria 10 Aug @ 7:35am
will there be a 1.6 version?
potato404 15 Jul @ 11:30am
@Erin
Oh yes, because some old versions of mods can be used in 1.6 by chance, I wanted to try my luck, sorry I don't know much about the operation of the mod, thank you for your reply, I like this mod very much!
Erin  [author] 15 Jul @ 9:43am
@potato404
- The mod isn't even tagged as 1.6. It won't work in 1.6.
potato404 15 Jul @ 9:40am
Is this mod currently unavailable in 1.6? I get a lot of errors after loading it. Sorry to bother you.
Erin  [author] 22 Jun @ 4:12pm
Iy
- he did but he sent it to me and I forgot. I'm not on vacation and unavailable until the 28th.
ly 20 Jun @ 5:24pm
@Sarg Bjornson did you...? i tried looking but if you did i must have missed it :x

@Erin awesome, thanks!
Sarg Bjornson  [author] 19 Jun @ 8:01am
Didn't I already did that one a few ago?
Erin  [author] 19 Jun @ 7:58am
@Iy
- when I get around to the 1.6 updates, yes.
ly 17 Jun @ 1:39am
would love to see that addon for VE: Props uploaded, furniture's a little bit cluttered
冲天香阵透长安 29 Apr @ 2:08am
If the notebook could offer entertainment or call the orbital merchant, it would be the best mod
Erin  [author] 23 Mar @ 10:16am
@GVLT
- Originally they were only designed as purely decorative, however I've been thinking lately that with the next update I do, I'll add some tiny bonuses to them. We'll see.
GVLT 23 Mar @ 7:58am
Great mod, love it. Would be cool if laptop have a recreational rating attached.
Erin  [author] 4 Jan @ 5:24pm
@Felios
- Because vanilla perspective isn't all over the place either? If you're going to blatantly insult my work, at least look at the vanilla side of things first.
Felios 4 Jan @ 12:07pm
I like this mod but I cannot use it. Does no one care that the perspective is completely wrong for many objects? Laptop looks like it's facing the camera. Books look like they're tilted. The cactus pot is viewed literally from its side. Even the trash cans and the candles look wrong.
Gamma 3 Oct, 2024 @ 11:46am
thank you for making this!
Erin  [author] 25 Sep, 2024 @ 4:38am
@Rush
- A separate mod was made, I just never got around to uploading it.,
BigGovernment 25 Sep, 2024 @ 4:25am
Any possibility of getting this patched to work off the VE: Props module?
Sarg Bjornson  [author] 22 Sep, 2024 @ 2:41am
*insert I don't even know who you are pic"
Erin  [author] 22 Sep, 2024 @ 1:37am
Ok
Erin  [author] 16 Jun, 2024 @ 9:14am
@Alex the Average
- They're purely decorative, as stated in the description. :)
Alex the Average 16 Jun, 2024 @ 6:19am
Are these functional, in terms of stats/mood/storage/etc., or purely decorative props?
Tleno 13 May, 2024 @ 12:36pm
Ah, glad to hear, will wait for eventual release!
Erin  [author] 12 May, 2024 @ 3:40am
@Tleno
- I actually had one made that used VE props but I haven't updated it to 1.5 yet because I've had stuff going on, I'll do it when I can!
Tleno 11 May, 2024 @ 2:43pm
Hey Erin, I recall something about a version using VE decorative module menu instead of default one, is that a thing and I misplaced the load order or something if it shows up in regular Furniture menu??
Kitik 1 May, 2024 @ 11:33am
@Erin Here is link for russian and polish translation, please add to mod description. :steamsad:
Erin  [author] 4 Apr, 2024 @ 10:37am
@Deadmano
- Oh thank you! I'll be sure to include it once I get around to doing the 1.5 update.
