That it is indeed! I played through the entire Legendary edition last 2023 and early 2024. I fell in love with the series as soon as I was given access to the codex in the first game and immediately saw how in-depth all the lore was. I saw the love the writers had for the setting they'd created, explaining aspects of the universe I was never even going to see while playing the game! And I knew I would love it too.

@DarthK3v It's been a few years, but I believe this started as a rif on the Cardaneus class. When I swapped the forward bridge section to the aft, the rest of the design just started to get more Normandy-esque.

Side note. I really like Mass Effect. It's a "hard scifi" Star Trek that explores what the Federation may be like with a functioning economy and no replicators or transporters. Complete with brightly colored thirst-trap aliens.

I hadn't yet played Mass Effect when you first made this, but looking at it again now after having played Mass Effect, I'm seeing strong Normandy vibes. Specifically the SR1 Normandy with that triangular fin on top. Conscious inspiration?

From my experience of dissecting and thoroughly using NPC/NPC Inspired Ship designs, The AI captains actually fly better with one of Yaw/Pitch being terrible and the other being far better. So your lack of attention might actually be helping the vessel here.

Reminds me of ST:O's Intel ships! Love it.
