How do you disable the van? Do explosives have to explicitly be under the van or will they work anywhere?

I encountered a bug where the helicopter never took off so almost all of the guard team got stuck. I don't know what caused it. I've seen this happen two times total.

@Brackish Water - yeah I think there's an excessive number of Game Objects in it and Unity just doesn't cope. I'll have to go back and optimize it later / merge lots of small objects together to make Unity happy.

Your map is somehow the laggiest one in the game for me. I have a powerful machine and my fps is always a rock solid 60 fps on this map, but it makes my CPU usage reach 100% and stay above 90% for most of the time! It happens as a Guard, as an Intruder, as a Spectator, and when I'm the only person on the map. It happens before I hold the mirror camera and having it out just makes the numbers stay higher more consistently. QSwitch is never this bad and even TheIsland, a map I'll get 50fps on if I have my mirror camera out in certain spots, doesn't make my CPU usage as high as this map. I run Intruder at 1080p, 60fps,with V-Sync always off,and I tested this with the highest and lowest graphical settings. I only noticed this issue because my computer fans got loud.

Sorry if I sound harsh. I mean to say all this in the best way. I'm mostly kind of shocked. It's a fun map. I played it when I was new to the game and now that I'm more experienced I'm looking forward to giving it another go.

Thanks @Killerjerick. Yeah you can imagine how it played when I had no instructions at all at the start!! When I get back to it, ill try to clear it up some more.

For the roof -- yes, guards have to get into the chopper ASAP if they want to get there before the intruders can (and if you're late, intruders can shoot you as you zipline down!).
If you do get onto the roof on time though, besides the hatch into the top floor, you can also jump onto the AC units on pool-side of the building, which lets you drop down to any floor and crawl into the vents. You can also pretty easily drop onto the window ledges on the garden-side of the building too.
And some of the wooden slat decorations on the sides of the building might come in handy... :)

Wow this flew under my radar for too long, absolutely amazing map, a couple of things that could be improved upon:

- The voices aren't exactly clear and somewhat hard to understand even for a native English speaker, I could imagine it being even more difficult if English was not your first language.

- The map has a fairly steep learning curve, which is fine, but instructions need to be a little more clear (Might tie in with the above)

- As Greenie said, the roof is death, you pretty much have to rush if you want to survive as a guard, perhaps making the main building a little bigger and adding vents could help, but I'd imagine that's a lot of work, so even a ladder down the side of the building might help.

Other than those few small issues, this is now a regular map that my friends and I enjoy playing semi-regularly, so thank you!

I love the helicopter infil, I'd love to see you experimenting with that a bit more, imagine the guards preparing while inside a chinook and then it lands, or somehow being able to control a machine gun from a heli...

this map is garbage, sorry just throwing an opinion out there. but i like the game mode and concept, aswell as the other elements of the map, just the map in general is bad.

Pretty cool map, but theres a few things I didn't like. Can't shoot sniper through windows (I think), very long and loud voice over in the beginning (I know it was for a contest but ehh), I tried exploding the car like it suggested here and I don't think it worked, also I didn't like how dark it was (I know there's light switches but it's hard to turn stuff on when rigging the room up, especially on the 3/4th floor cause it takes longer to get up there), the guard spawn (for new players on the map) makes it seem like the door doesn't open for 60s instead of it just saying you have 60 until starting, and the roof feels like a kill-box since the intruders can get up pretty easily with that as the only obvious entrance. Solid 9/10

Yeah it's tagged as Work In Progress at the moment. I'm mostly interested in if performance is ok on different PC's with all the realtime lights, and how gunplay goes in the spaces right now.

I'll remove the WIP tag when the objective gameplay is working, and it's ready to be considered an entry in the mapmaking contest.

The concept is cool, but the execution is.....not. For one, the spawns, uniforms, and loadouts are reversed for some reason? The briefcases in safes/wall panels are cool but it's incredibly easy to get stuck in the map geometry. Map has a lot of potential but I wouldn't recommend it in its current state at all.
