i really like this mod makes surviving real the only anoying think is when yo uwin melancolic or the stress trait and you can disable it in options personally i dont have any problem wiht the overdose is normal if you mix alcohol and medicine you get sick the fever comes with the illness and the illnes with the wet trait and cold i think is everything okay in the mod just the 2 errors when i hit. i can play normally but still....

the mod gives me error everytime i hit push or atack a zombie in fact gives 2 errors at the same time i check it wiht dynamic trais alone

Drank one bottle of alcohol and my character gets stuck with overdose that I can't get rid of even with admin heals. Not to mention the immediate fever that happens randomly. Mod is not worth it in its current state

The overdose mechanic is completely ridiculous and makes this mod pointless. Why is there even an alcoholic trait if having a bottle of wine is an overdose? You can't drink 1/4 bottle of liquor without overdose. No other drugs involved. Why is this a thing? Get rid of it or make an option to disable it. I was 5 hours in my run until I found alcohol, now I need to delete my character because he has the alcoholic trait from the start of the game.

Yeah, since last update this mod show up error (a lot, when i use firearm too with rain mod, didn't test it in vanilla).
Error happen in main menu too. This mod will miss me :(

is it possible to heal character from some negative traits?
- i know that if not to smoke for 40+ days - character will heal up from Smoker trait
- i know that if not to drink alcohol for 30+ days - character will heal up from Alcoholic trait
and so on
i am asking about such negative traits as:
- depressive
- melancholic
- nervous
Are there any ways to heal it up during gameplay by regulary doing or not doing any activity? Like if to regularly eat (or not) anti-depresants, beta-blockators, whatever?

I agree with Deoxys below. This mod would be great to make a regular run more challenging, but if you already have some difficulties in your starting premises, this just piles it on. I got restless sleeper, nightmares, frail and all sorts of artificial burdens to my character. I tried to sleep it off and died instead. Do not recommend, unless you will have a powered proper house and a good amount of loot.

Just add a checkbox to the sandbox: "vanilla traits". If you uncheck it, your vanilla traits will not exist, but your other :steamthumbsup: GREAT:steamthis: traits are additional and do NOT conflict with other mods.. :spiffo: please..

Jan 18 update
- Hearty Appitite and High Thirst are no longer obtained at Stout/Fit level, only at Strong/Athletic Level.
This isnt true, even in DTByBodyConditions.lua there still condition about having Stout/Fit

This mod is not that hard.
It's add real challenge, and real rewwarding if you survive long enough.

I see a lot of people complaining that the mod is too hard, but I think that is the point and really I don't find it that difficult.

While this is an interesting mod on paper, some of the rebalance is too extreme in my opinion. There's a difference between rebalance and nerfing everything to the ground.This doesn't feel like a rebalance, it feels like adding +4 or +6 cost to all positive traits and removing most negative traits, leaving behind only a handful that are all really terrible. I don't recommend this mod to anyone unless you're looking for a more difficult experience, as the negatives greatly out weigh the positives.

For some reason, melancholic is always thrown on my character no matter what I do. Its manageable, sure, but highly annoying. Nervous wreck easily stacks quickly, too, if zeds are knocking on a door or fence. I ticked off the option for nervous wreck and melancholic in the sandbox options in the dynamic trait settings and still the trait gets applied. Guidance would be appreciated.

I really wanted Dynamic Traits - Sauce Edition, it's the most balanced, with all the others you catch the flu and die in less than 24 hours, it's horrible.

the trait of starting with the whole body burned prevents you from lighting any kind of bonfire, could you fix it? thanks :)

Neh, that mod is crap. It has no constant or active support. The modder pretends that comments here don't exist. The idea of Dinamic is to offer realistic progress. If I wanted to die of fever from camping one night, I would have preferred to commit suicide by car at 100km. It's about being consistent, not a bundle of nerves, and water killing the character. This mod is unbalanced. It's a shame the modder who corrected this mod has not made his own version. DO NOT INSTALL THIS. It's not difficult, it's UNFAIR.

Hi, congratulations for your great work!

I would like to ask you a question:
I have seen that for B42 there is an option to disable the overdose and the "nervous wreck" state, is it possible that this option can be added to the B41 version? I am playing on a multiplayer server and we would love to add your great mod to our game.

this is a great mod but will there ever be a fix for the fever and queasy i can have infection set to saliva take one scratch from a zombie and die within the next hour or two due to a fever can there be any kind of fix for this?

The fever issue in b42 still hasn't been fixed. I can't play this mod if every time I get a cough I'm going to get a fever and die.
