Gigachad Thundercock, thank you very much for taking the time to update the mod. I edited my mod's description page to add the URL to your updated version of the mod. :-)

Just FYI, I'm trying to fix the mod to work with the current version, cheers.

Hey folks. I am not actively modding the game for the time being. In meantime feel free to use the Item Spawner mod to cause the manual to spawn right away for you. If someone who is familiar with PZ modding, may take over my mod and keep it updated. Everyone have my full permission for updating my mod. Thanks for your understanding and patience.

Haven't been able to find the manuals in quite a few games already, is there any way for us to manually increase the chance for it to spawn?

GOD thank you, i cant tell you how stupidly frustrating it is getting set up only to have to move 12 states over to avoid the hoard i alerted through no fault of my own, this mods a livesaver and a funsaver

I haven't seen any of the manuals since the latest update changed loot distribution, you might want to look into that.

ahh.. ok .. sorry. thank you.

Oups, yes manual is required for the option "Check for Alarms" to appear on doors and windows. I thought it was explained in the mod's description. I edited now the mod's description to make it even more clear. Thank you and have a good day! :-)

i am using 41.5.
I assume i have to find a Manual . maybe that's why it's not working .
SilentResident  [author] 15 Jun, 2021 @ 5:16am
@ CSI48 : Mod is made and tested for version 41.50 (IWBUMS). Make sure you activate the mod via the save menu if you are trying it on an existing save.

Why is this not working in-game ?? i click on a door and i don't get that menu .

Clebenstein, Aiteron's mod is the full experience, the full package offering multiple features together. My mod only aims at providing just the basic function of detecting alarms for those who aren't into lockpicking and such, but would like to just know whether there is an alarm around.
MobileSuitCleb 19 Apr, 2021 @ 3:30am
What are the advantages of using this over Aiterons mod? or do they work together?
SilentResident  [author] 13 Apr, 2021 @ 2:31pm
Hairy.Mario, all credits go to that author, not me. The alarm detection mechanism is from his mod, while the textures & UI text are mine. Specifically: the red alarm icon on car wheel is recreated using sources from the internet, while the instructions manual is recreated from scratch. Simple as that. If you have any problem that my mod is based on someone else's mod - with all credits still going to him despite my own improvements over it - then simply don't download it. But at least the next time you should check the files before expressing your opinion. That will be appreciated.

The Credits section has been clarified to include me as well. It used to write:

"All credits go to Aiteron, creator of the "Better lockpicking" Mod, whose alarm detection mechanism was used as a basis for my own mod."

Now it writes:

"All credits for the alarm detection script go to Aiteron, creator of the "Better lockpicking" Mod, while credits for the textures and UI go to SilentResident."

"CREDITS:
All credits go to Aiteron, creator of the "Better lockpicking" Mod, whose alarm detection mechanism was used as a basis for my own mod."

I don't think this is how it works, i have not check your files but seems more like cut and paste.
