is there a mod that combines all your other bloodline mods? I want to download them but I just can't afford the 4-5 slots when all I have is 50.
Dorimi 王狼  [author] 10 Dec, 2019 @ 6:00am
You need to change it in a localization folder

I am currently modifying the More Bloodlines mod for AGOT to make it compatible with other mods. Though I managed to "activate" some bloodlines, they are not named correctly. For instance, the Bloodline of Samwell Dayne is just called "samwell_dayne," as it is set in the 00_bloodlines.txt file. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I also tried set_name = "Dayne Bloodline" in both 00_bloodlines.txt and the history files where I insert create_bloodline, but that didn't work.

To stop bothering Dorimius, I uploaded a 'fixed' version of the mod with the fixes described in the comments here. I do not intend to offend nor steal anything from anyone, and tried to provide due credit. Here's the link http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1307302423

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but how do we create our own bloodline? I thought it was supposed to be through a minor title once you get a kingdom or empire, but I don't see any new minor title.
Rein 26 Mar, 2017 @ 4:07pm
@deafturtle Wish I knew that long time ago, already made my own bloodline system
deafturtle 24 Dec, 2016 @ 10:04am
Finally figured out how to have this trait pass through females as well. Open the txt file in Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod\divine bloodzip\common\traits\

add enatic = yes, thats all there is to it

Happy I figured this out :D
Capt. Trip 12 Nov, 2016 @ 4:00am
Doesn't seem to work with the most recent DLC or patch fixes
Dr Fish 15 Oct, 2016 @ 12:14pm
Is there a way to get this to pass the blood lines down the female line when you have a matrilinal marrage as my daughters become line losers and I'm not keen on breeding the blood line back in..........if you get my drift.
Crabby654 25 Jul, 2016 @ 1:59pm
Do non-player characters also create their own bloodline? That would be awesome
BuffaloError 7 May, 2016 @ 2:36am
for some reason it doesn't seem like the minor title is showing up for me. Does it have specific requirements to show up (other than being King or Emperor level) like do you need to be at peace or your son doesnt have the "of Royal Blood" perk?
mono olho. 26 Feb, 2016 @ 12:17pm
Lord Dorimi, could you please update the mod? It's absolutely simple, just a quick 50seconds edit, for those of you also having problems, I am paraphrasing what Sagiluv1 and others have said:

Go to: \Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod\ and find the file divine blood.zip
open it and go to the folder Localisation and open bloodlines.csv (with excel or whatever).

Go to the end of the file and you will see 2 instances of [This.Father.GetOnlyDynastyName], change them BOTH to only [GetOnlyDynastyName] .

Save, save your changes and that's about it. Mister Dorimi Master, if you could do this and update the mod, no further problems should arise in the near future and we would all appreciate you even more so for your work and dedication..

Anyway to edit the trait name after character customization? I am getting the bloodline of. Problem as well.
Carapace Cross 5 Jan, 2016 @ 10:26am
I'm having an issue where the traits just say 'bloodline of .'
ZogJaws 27 Jul, 2015 @ 4:11am
@Erwin Rommel, go to your Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\Mod\Divine Blood\localisation and then finally you will find the file you seek.

Where on earth is the localisation file -_-
sachsenkindl 4 Mar, 2015 @ 7:22am
Hello Guys (and girls),

Got another solutions for the "blood of" problem.

If you also downloaded and installed the "Historical Bloodline" mod - you have to change the [Get.Father...andsoon]-Part in the bloodline localisation of the "Historical Bloodline"-Mod.

In my case, it works.
Xsnowmagex 22 Feb, 2015 @ 2:49pm
Mine only said "Blood of .". So I did what sagiluv1 said and in character customization it said house lowborn but when I finilized the character it said the correct house on it.
Sagiluv1 said:
For this who having issues with the name of their custom dynasty not showing up, I manage to fix the issue. in the localisation file within the mod itself. Chage this statement [Get.Father.GetOnlyDynastyName] to [GetOnlyDynastyName]. Probably doing the coding process the Get Father property was removed as a hardcode thus nullified the whole statement itself. Also do not use the "." it will also negate the code ability.
Cloaked Figure 21 Feb, 2015 @ 10:04am
If you do what sagiluv1 mentioned it will work again. Make sure the .mod files are pointing the game to the right area. And not to a duplicate unmodded file.
Fictitious 7 Feb, 2015 @ 12:39pm
This seems like a really cool mod but sadly none of the mods for the Historical Bloodline Pack will download for me, and when I go to Paradox it says the link was removed. Does anyone have a working link?
[TPPL] King Leonidas 24 Jan, 2015 @ 6:20pm
my says only :NameOfYourDynasty
Slayen 24 Dec, 2014 @ 1:19am
It says the same thing on everyone who has it. I manually gave the trait to the father and all this children. His grandkids (who Inherited the trait naturally) still say just "Blood".
peteyb 23 Dec, 2014 @ 6:45pm
I think this is supposed to be given to your children. So if you start with it on your original character the dynasty name won't appear. Kind of makes sense, you don't need to claim the blood of yourself, but any children can be given the name.
Slayen 21 Dec, 2014 @ 11:01pm
I did that and now it only shows "Blood", not even "Blood of"
sagiluv1 20 Dec, 2014 @ 12:20pm
Also do not use the "." it will also negate the code ability.
sagiluv1 20 Dec, 2014 @ 12:09pm

I really like the idea of this mod, but i'm having the same "Only showing 'Blood of' " problem that Kelsier Vin and Captain Bravo where having.
Pvt. Raven7_be [16th IR] 11 Dec, 2014 @ 12:18pm
I was wondering if you could help me, i would like to change the trait to stewardship instead of diplomacy. So i went into the mydocuments folder, mods, then into common folder, selected the file traits where it's displayed, changed the diplocmay = 1, into stewardship = 3. However when i load up the game he ignores the changes. Could you tell me how i would be able to change that since i love your mod (but i prefer stewardship skills over diplo) or could you ajust it so we are able to choose at the start? making you able to specify your family into a certain branch. tyvm
MoodyJacky 11 Nov, 2014 @ 7:36am
Where is the option to create your own bloodline? I do not see it.
Sol 26 Oct, 2014 @ 10:45pm
Also, about this peticular mod: Is it compatible with your other Bloodline mods, or more like an "ultra-light" version?

Does the feature of this mod appear in Bloodlines?
Sol 26 Oct, 2014 @ 10:38pm
I like all of your mods.

I have been inspired to give a small project a whirl and I am stuck on something you seem to have mastered, which is Minor Titles. I have created a few, and connected them to events. They seem to be very powerful on terms of what one can do with them!

My problem is, that they are not showing up in-game. I don't know if I have done my .csv, my .gfx, or setup my allow = { } wrongfully. All I know is when I go to any character, period, the titles do not show up in the list.

Can you give me any advice?
TriviumHunter 5 Oct, 2014 @ 7:12am
I wish for a enatic version of this mod. Some of us have enatic playthroughs. I'm also asking how I modify these things?
xandl-hofer 12 Aug, 2014 @ 11:06pm
can you enable the feature for Dukes too (makes sense especially when you play in england, france or the empire...also interesting when playing arabs.
JamesCross 29 Jul, 2014 @ 3:02pm
It's not allowing me to make my own bloodline. It's only allowing to make my characters son "Royal Blood". My character is the king of Ireland. It doesn't show at all on any of my games.
Burton Burger Boy 20 Jul, 2014 @ 12:41pm
You should make it so that females can inherit too. I like a gender equal Empire :P
Borek Bang 16 Jul, 2014 @ 9:48am
Jemand Lust die ganzen Bloodline-Mods von Dorimi ins Deutsche zu übersetzen :) ?
Kelsier Vin 9 Jul, 2014 @ 1:45am
I have the same problem as Captain Bravo. BTW I love all your mods, especially damascus swords.
Nord de Vinter 29 Jun, 2014 @ 9:40am
I keep trying to create my own bloodline but it just comes up with Blood of . and doesn't actually say they have the blood of my house/family. It did before and now doesn't, any suggestions?
DMKI 29 Jun, 2014 @ 8:51am
Another bug: apparently, this mod uses ID 177 for trait of bloodline. This ID is used by another mod - Slvrbuu's CKII Cheat Menu. I think it's Hand of God trait there. Dorimi should be more careful, as his mods are of lesser usability.
Your Good Pal Chev 17 Jun, 2014 @ 1:00pm
Is there any way to add a bit more customization to the bloodline? Like, some kind of decision that adds the trait to yourself with customized stats? Additionally, functionality with the Damascus Steel Swords mod would be wonderful, if there is any way to make that work.
Lorkonius 14 Jun, 2014 @ 3:27pm
I can not create the bloodline. The option is supposed to appear in the list of honorary titles (cupbearer, etc.) but it is not there. I expected it to turn up after I had created my kingdom, but it didn't.
DMKI 31 May, 2014 @ 12:34pm
Also, I noticed that if that trait is of someone elses blood (i.e. father's, while my intention was to ensure the mother's bloodline is preserved), it simply doesn't work or is inherited. Makes no sense to me and apparently mod still requires some work to do.
DMKI 28 May, 2014 @ 10:51am
If the leader is Queen of dinasty A, and father is of dinasty B, the bloodline will be of dinasty B, which is plain wrong. And it can't be undone.
Lilpenny 14 May, 2014 @ 1:23pm
Sorry for repost but this version Your Own Bloodline is obviously compatable with the Shattered world mods and seems to work fine, I just it doesn't offer the making of Knights and stuff.
Lilpenny 14 May, 2014 @ 1:20pm
Hey Dorimi, first off thanks for the great mods, I use many of yours and love them. I've been recently playing the shattered world mods that remover the history and let the world form in generic fashion. With this said Historic Bloodlines obviously isn't compatable and the game crashes when trying to load that combination of mods. I was wondering if you could simply add the features of Making People Knights/Kings Guard stuff like that to the Your Own Bloodline version or even make it a stand alone portion. I love the Roll Play of Knighting Commoners that make great battle commanders and when I hold tornaments Knighting the winners. But since all of that s tied to the History mod one without would be amazing. Maybe you have already done this and I'm too stupid to find it, if so point me in the correct direction :)

Thanks again!!

Does this mod work in conjunction with any Game of Thrones mod?
[TPPL] King Leonidas 4 May, 2014 @ 5:56am
could you make this more complex as 1 in diplomacy? :P my warrior dynasty deserves more then that i want to put my Noble blood in there and conquer the world
