currently too busy to update my mods, basically all my spare time is being used making sprites for a future game update for vanilla. Until that is complete all modding work has been paused. Though i have given permission for others to release updated versions of my mods and i know some of these have been done by shadowing such as purelands

yeah they are limited just for balance reasons, you have to be careful with the legendary craftsmen i usually just lock them in to rooms with the crafting stuff they require and leave them as glorified prisoners.

@macadaciouse It's a common issue i have seen with steam updater. If you unsub, unistall the unholy mod file completely and then resub it usually starts working for people (or at least that's worked for everyone i've spoken with about it)

There is a limit on some creatures. Is it supposed to be one and done, or are you supposed to be able to recruit more if you lose them? My two legendary craftsmen died to an unknown cause, and now I can't craft and spicy gear. I also can't recruit any more skeleton abominations or juggernauts. I just have the one big boy.

That was a big facepalm moment. I assumed because many of the other units didn't require corpses that the skeletons didn't either. Turns out I was playing too much vanilla. Strange that lack of items doesn't stop things showing in immigration but lack of resources does. Well the more you know. Sorry to bother you with this.

Yes I am sure. I've played the vanilla a great deal and tested your mod twice. I have tried deleting the mod and reinstalling. At this point it must be a mod conflict, or less likely the order I am building things.

Thank you for double checking, I too don't get crafters as the poster below mentioned. If I narrow it down to which mod causes it I will let you know.

i tested these issues and on my end it seems to work fine, the skeleton warriors would appear in the immigration tab as long as i had a coffin, training dummy and a corpse resource available. Are you sure you were playing the modded keeper and not the vanilla one? as the sprites are really similar in the menu main difference is the modded one is animated with the skull going round him.

Skeleton warriors are not appearing in the immigration tab. Vampire warriors are. Which I cannot recruit. I think there is an error somewhere unless i've been incredibly unlucky for 20 minutes.

crafter needs a crafting bench or anvil i believe, skeleton warriors need training dummies plus coffins. The requirements are in the immigration tab if you hover over them at the bottom left of the screen. If you can't find it i can check for ya when im home ^^

Also rhis mods been patched now ^^ if it doesn't update correctly try unsubbing, deleting the unholy mod folder then resubbing...usually fixes the problem

yeah this mod is more open/sandboxy in that respect, i tried to include most vanilla features in it. including the ability to hire master crafters ^^

Cant wait for this to be updated. I dislike the vanilla Lich just because you cant get a master smith no matter what so a bunch of upgrade rune stones just sit in your stash being useless. You cant make any of the unique items either because they all require master smith. I assume this mod doesint cut me off like that.

it's still standalone ^^ the vanilla version plays alot differently so i decided to keep this live for whoever prefers it. For the new update i basically just remade a load of sprites so they looked more like vanilla and michal did all the hardwork like setting up the balsams and everything XD

hence why it's alot different to this mod (besides the sprites)

@Scourge try deleting all stuff related to this mod then resubbing to it. Sounds like it hasn't correctly updated to the new version from that error.

@Neoblaze i can speak to the Dev about changing the appearance of the recruitment images on the immigration list of something to help determine their type, Like white for undead, black for normal and red for demon.

Skeletal abomination started his life as a normal minion until myself and many players noticed they were OP and would just build an army of those instead of any other undead XD So i have given them a limit atm, but i plan on changing this in the future once i balance them out better. Might increase the limit a bit tho in the meantime.

I do wish there was a way to tell the game u can only have a max of X creature but once one dies u can recruit it's replacement...Another thing i'll ask the Dev about XD

appreciate the response, once i realized those 2 categories it made alot more sense to me.. Due to how many eldritch shrines you typically make to increase population sometimes things like winged horror seemed to be almost always available until i "cashed in" my rituals for something more costly.

I don't know if its possible to change the icon outlines or something for those that require corpses or something.. but maybe that could help from a visual perspective to separate those categories a little more. Although its clear skeletons all fall into that category.

Regarding things like skeletal abomination is the intention for them to be like legendary units? or just a limit as to how many can be controlled at one time? I was sad when i lost mine and couldn't build them again after making 3-4 of them.

@neoblaze thanks for the feedback ^^ i'll look in to the bow issue as i thought they could make bows. So most likely just an oversight on my part, so i'll look in to that for the next patch.

Currently imigration for the mod is kind of split in to two categories, undead units are always available as long as you have the corpses in storage. Whereas other units are done by the normal RNG once you have thie requirements met plus are time constrained. I might tweak the timings for the monsters so it takes longer for new stuff to start popping up. To give the player more time to get used to their new options. I am limited to what's possible with the game though :c

But yeah i always appreciate feedback and will do what i can to improve on the mod :D

I was checking this mod out and while trying the archer units.. it seems like skeletal archer has the shoot ability by default which is cool. I was expecting to have to make bows.. However for the corrupted Knight Archer it seems that it doesn't have this ability by default and so can't actually shoot.

The faction doesn't have a way to build bows so this was a little annoying for me. Overall though having a great time with this mod.

I do feel like i get overwhelmed with all the constant immigration options sometimes though. Would be nice if you could have it broken into 2 categories where the skeletons are always available due to necormancy and the others acting like normal?

Either way nice job with this swish.

Just to give everyone an update in case you hadn't noticed in the recent game patch but Michal has oh so kindly fixed the phylactery bugs ^^ saying that my mod is currently the only one the utilises the feature it's speaks volumes about him as a dev saying that he fixed the issue within days :D ^^

No worries i just wanted to bring up the issue so they could fix it in their own time. I don't want someone slamming this mod for one small issue.

It appears to be two different bugs, but still has a relating issue to the Phyl since once you die you are unable to rebuild it even though you have the gold to do such. Like your Keeper is actively trying to build it, but it never happens and if you delete it crashes the game.

Game Dev has said he knows what's causing the issue and will patch it asap. Tho might take a while as he's dealing with a few different bug fixes right now due to the new version.

In wondering if it's two different bugs tho Ur experiening or if it's just that the phyl is a bit broken atm XD

Also to add onto the Phyl is that I can't remake it even though I have the gold to make it, but like @Maky. When I deleted it it crashed the game, but doesn't appear to be having any lasting damages to my save, besides the fact I can't really delete the thing.

Well this time i did find a real issue.
My Keeper died and revived at the phyl and the keeper was stuck on that tile and i tried deleting the planned new one from being built and it crashed.
