Yeah this pack will allow you to use the majority of Overhaul's music regardless if you're playing vanilla or modded. Mod packs shouldn't be interfering with the vanilla resource packs at all, so you'll likely be fine! :3

ooh i see, many thanks :) i loved the music of overhaul, but sadly the mod is not friendly with others bigger mod like calamity or Homeward journey, so... i was missing the music of overhaul.

For the most part, yes! There are certain things that aren't included, such as the April Fools tracks, Boss 1 Redux (because you can't have two Boss 1 tracks in a music pack), and the blooming tracks (which you can't even view right now anyway as seasons aren't reimplemented yet).

Outside of that, every other song from the Terraria Overhaul mod should be there as well

Just to make sure, this pack music contain all music from origina terraria overhaul mod?

The files being an MP3 in comparison to an OGG file is completely unrelated to the matter. My only suggestion is to unsubscribe to the pack and resubscribe to it.

Any guide on how to convert the files to mp3 and what to convert would be helpful as it doesn't show up in the Resource Pack folder. Love your music!

im having the same problem as Terrarian in April enabled the resource pack but it didnt overwrite the vanilla songs or in my case the music boxes. Pack is showing as enabled in the resource pack section. i uninstalled every mod and it still didnt work. Mods i have are Overhaul Calamity Stars Above and then a bunch of random mods that dont touch vanilla music.

Ah, I can confirm what Azwildcat said, I too am getting a music 29 crash error. I think its another track that has a duplicate possibly. Would you like the full crash log?

Yeah, I disabled all resource packs and tried it as the only mod in that list, but it still won't work.

Oh, are you sure its fixed? Its not letting me exit the resource pack screen if I enable it, and clicking the enable the music pack option crashes the game still.

Thanks so much, I'm listening to vanilla music again now, and it really puts into perspective how incredible your mod is. Which is to say that Terraria already has a amazing soundtrack, you simply propel it to the next level. I cannot imagine playing without it honestly!

Uh, the latest update causes the game to crash. I had to get help deleting a file just to make the game launch at all.

I can double check the OGG renders. This sounds like a Terraria bug altogether though.

Now I have an update for you: I converted the ogg files to mp3 and now it works. I suggest you make it official so nobody has to go through the same problem as me. These ogg files sounded quite sus to me since I first saw them in the music folder. I don't know how to explain but I suspect the game might have some issues to read those files.

If the music boxes work normally, then it's not a pack issue. The music boxes read from the same game data as any biome would read it.

What happens when you try using a music box for each respective theme?

There's nothing other than your pack replacing those themes. It must be an error. As I said, the Alt Overworld Day is played all day in the forest and such, while the Underground main theme is always played, not switching to the alternate theme.

I actually haven't seen this issue on my pack alone. Make sure you don't have any conflicting packs as well. What plays instead of Overworld Day and Alt Underground music?
