Yea for sure, I am super excited for the culture conversion as well, seems like a really elegant solution rather than having create cultures upon cultures on a list. But until then, this is next best thing.
You installed the mod midgame didn't you? That's the cause.
Also would be interesting for a norse african culture and maybe the option to make norse-bedouin culture or any nomadic culture.
Other than that this is amazing!
It's a bit off the wall, but I think it would be kind of fun, and since there's already the Far From Home achievement, I think it would be neat to reward the industrious Vikings that find themselves in India.
You would need to remove the cultures from their culture group and move them to north germanic culture group file.
Go to this mod and copy new culture code (they all have norse in their names) to north germanic files. (common\culture\cultures in the mod files)
He adds a file 999_MoreCulturalNames.txt which unfortunately doesn't use culture groups.
He could add code - if there is no culture it would use culture group.
Norman culture already exist, maybe that has an effect?
@JAck Kohf I plan to do a few more in the future.
Rn I'm reworking decisions so you have to own any duchy under a kingdom with the culture to work. It will make it more likely for AI to do the decisions and you won't have to fight Northumbria to create Anglo-Norse culture.
