It will give you an overview of which tools you'll need and how to use them.

ingojeck - #1 download right version of tiled #2 download debug map #3 open game files and open the UGCToolkit #4 make a new mod with UGCToolkit #5 open tiled and open the level for your new mod #6 make your new level with stuff #7 make sure you have the right scripting, and also, make sure you give the doors/floodgates/levers names like door1, lever1 [<- this in scripting would be: lever1 -> door1] the lever goes first: lever ->, and then the door goes last: lever -> door. MAKE SURE YOU NAME THE STUFF, oh and also when ur done writing a line of code at the end do a little ":" or ";" i cant remember exactly, also you should use notepad++ for scripting. That should be it.

Well, it took me four years but I'm in the mood for mapping again. The first thing I did was to fix several minor issues and made it a bit more obvious where to go in multiple places where people tended to get stuck.
Time to work on a new level I guess.

If I understand correctly then you got Xiphorrhea (the ability to break wooden barriers) but not yet the upgrade to destroy brick walls.
After you get Xiphorrhea look for the switch in the same room to unlock paths to the left and right. Both need to be challenged as they will give you one ability each. This can be done in either order.
One part where I've seen some people struggle: When you enter through the water gate you can go to the right and down, even though it looks like a wall. That's also the path where you get the brick breaking ability.

Mind control is not in this map.
In room D36 (the one in the upper right of this map, soon after you get the web sling ability) you need to do the following:
Follow the air vent above until you land in the water to the right. Reach left through the blocks and destroy the container. Its explosion will destroy the wooden blockade above.
Go down and rip off the iron grates besides the lever but don't pull the lever itself. Go back through the air vent and shoot the lever with your web sling.

To add an object, first make sure you have the right layer selected in the upper right section of Tiled. They should be self-explanatory (water goes in layer "Water", vines/cables in layer "Verlets", other objects in layer "Objects", etc.). If you're not sure where something goes, look at other levels and click an object. The layer in which that object is will automatically be selected.

To add e.g. a soldier, select the "Object" layer, then open your "Templates/enemies/humans" folder (find Templates via UGCToolkit -> [your level] -> browse local files) and drag the file "assault_rifle_human.json" into your level.

If you're using Windows then look for the file with "win" in it. In this specific case you'd choose "Tiled-1.3.1-win64.msi".

Glad you enjoyed it! And yes, it's meant to boot you out of the level. There's only one big level and the red gate is the end of it.

@Lautaro162435: Can you explain where you got stuck? I've heard from some people that this level isn't always very intuitive so perhaps you didn't see the intended solution. There are several areas where you need to circumvent doors. I'd be happy to help if I know more about the situation.
If you genuinely got stuck because of a bug then I'd recommend giving the level another shot. Once you know what to do it should be possible to beat the level in less than 25 minutes.

I just played through this mod and had a lot of fun. There were a couple spots where I was confused about what to do and had to trial-and-error my way through, but most of puzzle and encounter designs were very good. I had a lot of fun.

okay, very interesting that. I had thought the door next to the Pyrophilia in Hydrophilia's area was a steel door as I couldn't destroy it when I checked. Steel and Iron doors, evidently, are hard to tell apart (who would have guessed). Seperately, the D36 room has proven elusive as I'm fairly sure the final containment capsule is in there alongside a checkpoint I previously obtained, but I physically cannot return to the area due to a wall closing off the only way to it. I'm a bit at a loss; I can only assume I either sequence broke by hitting the lever in this room with webs while it was still surrounded by grates, or I have not found a potential backtrack section in this area which I doubt, but is possible I missed. Any idea what I could be having issues with?

Iron doors should definitely be breakable with an upgraded Xiphorrea. You need to be medium sized (tentacle vortex can only break wood). Perhaps you found a steel door? They can't be smashed in this level.

@thestony1 Parasitism isn't in this map. You already unlocked the ability to break brick walls/iron doors but you can only do that when you are medium sized. Shrink by one size (e.g. with the biomass pool to the left of that door) and try breaking through it now.

This map was great fun!

How in the nine hells are you supposed to get to the containment vessel in B80 though? The jail door is locked, so I can't open it without Parasitism which I presume is in the container...

There's a few other areas/locked doors that look like they'd be accessible with Parasitism too (especially at the very ending) - did I miss picking it up somewhere along the way? I don't think so as I have the other 8 of the 9...

@Nasubi: That jar is optional. The one that allows you to break through this door is somewhere else, not in the immediate vicinity. Keep progressing through the map and you might find it.

@Nasubi: B80 Walkthrough:
Follow the chains up into the air vent above (through the upper right opening). Go right, eliminate the soldier below (growl to lead him below you) and pull the lever. This opens two doors. From here you have two options to activate the lever in the right-most room.
Option 1: Go left into the newly opened room, lose biomass, go back into the air vent all the way to the right and shoot the lever with a web.
Option 2: Go down the stairs, defeat both soldiers and pull the lever.
This opens up the door to the upper left room. Go there, break the wooden barrier, go down into the water and into the pipe to your left to advance to room B82.

If you defeated room B82 and don't know what to do next, go back through the comments (second to last page I believe). There's another comment describing what to do from there.
