We do but XP gains are at there strongest with bosses, so were essentially doing boss fights rapidly to maximize XP gains so grind time is heavily reduced. Were just not playing the game the way you want us to also the game is mainly PVE so often time people grinding is a net positive for the group because that player has more to help the group out.
mod still works !
I'd only really recommend it if you're trying to catch up to a save on a console or something though, and wanna speed up the grind back to 25. On hard KFP version gives a little over 30k xp on a complete run. Bit monotonous, but hey, grinding the levels always is gonna be monotonous.
Just play the game.
You need to make sure your playing on the objective game mode or it will not work as intended.
You would think it would be the reverse but the devs I presume thought they did not want to incentivize playing on the hardest difficulty just to shorten the grind but to instead be more for challenge. Thus making Hard the best bang for your buck in terms of pure grind to effort.
Okay I actually did do the math with this map on Endless hard on any map it takes like a full hour to get 30K~ EXP. This map gives you 30,350 EXP every 20~ Minutes on Hard give or take depending on how fast your going. Which means it is 3x faster to actually play objective on hard on this map then Endless on Hard on any map with the added bonus of this map netting you a lot of Vosh as a byproduct of the constant objective you will succeed at every success. So even for Vault grinding this map is actually really good for that to.
To note on any amount of grinding I recommend Hard because that's when you get most of the bonus EXP from difficulty to explain the bosses give you
1,291 EXP on Normal
1,684 EXP on Hard
1,790 EXP on Sui
and 1,843 EXP on HOE
From Normal to Hard its a whopping extra 394 EXP
From Hard to Sui its 106 EXP on top
From Sui to HOE its 53 extra EXP on top of all of it.
So there is diminishing returns hence why I recommend hard also for best mileage you need to strike a balance between gains and speed and Hard gives most of the bonus EXP while not making it to hard on yourself thus allowing you to be faster.
For Boss I recommend Hans while KFP sounds appealing certain classes don't do well against him like Berserker, also he hits quite hard, and has a lot of projectile protection. While Hans has grenades which can take you out, but he only uses the dangerous explosive ones to a dangerous frequency when you downed his last shield. So you can either avoid the grenades or take him out before they explode since during trader pod the grenades do no damage and its doable since he is low on HP at this point making Hans more doable due to this, and lack of projectile protection making it easier to deal with Hans from any distance with his longer bouts of vulnerability from being knocked down from breaking his shield.
open kf-kfp?game=objective
Let me remind you one important thing.
I do not recommend beginners to use this map because this way to earn XP never improve your whole of playing. This map is mainly for prestige players which have enough experiences and need to reach 25Lv ASAP. A type of beginners who earn XP abnormally must be noobs and will be hated unfortunately. Please use this map while being careful about this fact.
Anyway, to play on custom maps, you should only subscribe items and launch KF2.
