Govorunb, I may be able to help the development of this gamemode. I've created a triggerbot SWEP that lets bots lock onto the player and shoot. The next step, however, would be to create a code that makes bots spawn with it.

Plans eh? Hmmmmmm, now this will sound odd, but what if you could not just set the weapons the bots use, but set what group of weapons the bots use! Like, example: you have a weapon set called HL2 beta weapons, and every time a bot spawns you can make it so it gets a random weapon from that group!

We're still developing it, I just decided to stop updating the public version. I have plans for this gamemode ;-)

Well yeah, I'm super hyped for when this is complete. But still, the ability to play with bots that shoot you instead of playing with 9 year olds on 400 ping servers that have 1 player is great.

No, they don't have a good AI (yet), but they do shoot and lock on to you if you get directly in their line of fire. As I've said multiple times, this is an early alpha.

wait wait wait, bots? Actual bots?! The ones you add with the console with bot_add?! And they actually have good AI and shoot you now?! I have been waiting for a gamemode like this for a year. I... I... I don't know what to say... I'll leave ya with this: THANKS!!!!!!! :D :D :D

Note: Spawn points are made by the map creator by using the info_player_start entity. Unless you want to use Lua to create different spawns.

Also bots shoot at nothing a lot. They should be heading towards the Human team, but just shoot at nothing

Free for all should have a shotgun and crowbar :)

Also 1 more suggestion:
Could you make the bots spawn in random locations on the map, instead of at the spawn point

Dropdown lists aren't available for the pre-launch gamemode settings, but I'm thinking of making an addition to the F1 menu.

And yes, the crowbar is the correct loadout for the free for all mode. If you think it should be changed, feel free to suggest the new loadout.

Oh I tried Free-For-All mode with my friend, and all of the bots and players (including me) only have a crowbar. Is it supposed to be like that?

Also for the bot model option, I suggest using a drop-down with the list of models (instead of a text input), because most people don't know the exact name of a model.

Since bots can't hurt eachother, I suggest having a 'Bot vs Players' mode and a Free-for-All mode where bots attack eachother.

I've made it so bots can't hurt each other. I'll work on choosing the bots' models, though.

Also could you make the bots, instead of just shoot at eachother, go after other bots so they can get kills?

Not that I know of. The hand is something I haven't gotten to working with yet, but your error is definitely not intended to be there. Can you provide screenshots?

Is there any games/addons required for this? When I play, it looks like there's an Error thing above my head, and there's no hand holding the weapon.

Note: In order to have bots, you need to set max players at the start to at least 2.
