- check out the new fluffy fauna mod. The ferrets are in there:)
- The wildness stat got moved in the xml between 1.5 and 1.6 so it'll throw errors. I'm back home from vacation in a couple of days so I will make a start on updates soon.

<BorealForest>0.4</BorealForest>
<TemperateForest>0.4</TemperateForest>

They spawn in the forests.
Also, I could you add a potential recreation/action pawns can take with them where they wear them as scarves, or put them on their shoulders? It would be a nightmare to do, probably, but it would be very cool.

Checking that ;
this mod has ferrets are tackling animals just shy of target size COUGARs
0.9 ferrets, vs 1.0 of cougars
By contrast housecats tackle body size animals of .25
(good mod to balance stats of other animals introduced, or at least compare them)

<power>12</power> <!-- from 8 to 18 superbite maybe experiment with 12 easier to kill squirrels -->
<cooldownTime>2</cooldownTime> <!-- and/or lessen colldown time change 2 to 1.5 or something so they bite more often -->
you should maybe consider that weasels and ferrets and the like have actually an unproportional high bite strentgh compared to most animals
(so I would give it a strong, if maybe slow, bite that has a good chance of debilitating small prey - although I have no idea on how easy that would be with coding)
unrelated: the ferret models are really cute and well drawn, thanks for the mod
best hunting outcome I've seen was a dead rat next to a dead ferret
