Like I have said before, you can set blast-zones in the ingame editor, but the values shown in the stage maker are all wrong and don't really correspond to the real numbers. So is just better to write the correct values on the file with notepad.

Also, if you don't know how to program anything, don't worry about it. If you are just making a simple stage with no Aether variant and without gimmicks nor moving objects/platforms, then you really don't have to know how to do any of that.
The only thing you will need to know (which is something most stage makers always miss), is that once you save your stage with the stage editor, just open the "config.ini" of your map on Notepad and copypaste the values I put in the description.
The stage editor does have a blastzone editor, but is very wonky and shows completely different values than the actual values the stages show you in game, so I really don't recommend using it.
The best I could do was a mock-up or two I drew up. I've never done any sort of programming before.
Bernal is such a good artist, he DESERVES better than people just trowing his art into the map editor without any care.
It also took me more time than intended to make the "Aether" version with the moving platforms as I didn't know how to program in GameMaker and I couldn't find a tutorial about it haha. But, eh, I will try to make more maps, to be honest the process of making a map was actually a very fun and enjoyable experience that I really recommend people to try.
Not to mention that I had to redraw the background layers as the colors were so oversaturated to be playable (the original colors used to mix with the characters so you couldn't see what was going on very well). I could have just recolor them, but sadly I couldn't as the original Bernal website had them on JPG format so they were too pixalated and noisy to make that, and the JPG noise got worse as I tried to stretch the layers to fit the new size of the map. So I had no other option but to redraw those layers.
I decided to use the finished Bernal's assets and edited them to match the Tower of Heaven size and to acomodate more to the Rivals of Aether gameplay. I also added an Aether mode version with movable platforms and washed out the colors of the background so that the characters popout better when playing.
PS: Exetior is pretty cool!
