still can't even get the first tier to show up, might be conflicting with another mod I have but idk which.

The templates show the 2nd and 3rd tier as canbebuilt=false. Can this be the reason only the first tier shows up?

This mod rocks! Really helps make a firefight feel active when combined with the Idle Suppression mod. Though, I do hope we'll eventually see the Smartgun show up as a weapon in the future, that would really help round out a good Colonial Marine squad in this game!

in this mod, The PSIONIC REAPER is also equipped with an upgrade at the moment when soldiers are equipped with weapons. default IS 3 UPGRADE added.

i just added PSIONIC REAPER mod's upgrade Command in this mod but not working.

so... can you make this working? i want to add A LOT OF UPGRADE on this weapon.

@Ruloner thats super weird, i've never experienced a conflict like that (if there's any). My guess is that you already checked the mod using AML launcher. The only solution that comes to mind is checking the error messages on the red screen (command line: -redscreen, you can set it up on AML settings). I wish i could do more but i don't really know the ins and out of xcom modding, im just a dude who wanted this iconic rifle ingame.

Started new campaign and didn't work. After weapons research, the same result. Maybe a conflict between mods? I have installed the Mass Effect weapons and they're present...

@Ruloner Thats a bummer, are you playing on a new game or in an active campaing? The rifle works just like the conventional rifle, and when you research a new tier, it upgrades with it.

Hi, guys!

I'm trying to run the mod but it doesn't work. Does the rifle appear as any other weapon mod? Do I have to do something specifically? Also, I can't use the weapon skins unless I disable the Community Highlander mod.

Do you think it'd be hard to balance it and make more tiers for the LWOTC? Really tempted to get it if you say it works that well. I've always -REALLY- liked the squad selection you had in LW2. Does LWOTC have that?

Maybe I can just add you on Disc or Steam so not to spam here lol

I havn't actually made a mod for Xcom2 yet, just edited other mods for personal use lol but the Colonial Marines Armour mod while being a great mod has textures that are just off for a movie Marines team.
This mod should work fine even for LWOTC if you start a new game with it as weapon mods tend to be a bit iffy when installing mid campaign, although balance will be completely off for LWOTC.

I had to considerably improve the textures in Colonial Marines Armour mod for my game as they are so washed out and the pieces like the shoulder lamps, helmet cams, armor straps etc are all the wrong colour being light beige, had to recolour those dark green.

There's a very few specific mods I want, like the Colonial Marines rifles, armour, some of the Allies Unknown and Raider factions mostly. :)

Well, i run LWOTC and currently have 216 mods in play and don't feel like i'm missing out.
Probably because vanilla Xcom2\WOTC feels like a paint by numbers empty experience now compared to LWOTC and i would never go back to vanilla.

Well for a start LWOTC has 5 tiers for weapons and adjusted weapon stats.
This mod is balanced for WOTC which has the standard three tiers and stats.

Sorry people, i've been very busy lately wich made me go a bit lazy with modding. I'm still working in more items from the franchise (another thing with the stuff that goes pew pew). If i keep working on this particular mod i'll just get bored. But i'll return to it eventually, i think what we have here is enough for now, been the only pulse rifle on the workshop.

Hope you all understand, i'm uploading a last update fort the time being with a new cool UI icon and really small tweak on particles (yes, again lol) that i really like how it ended up feeling. Praying it doesn't break anything lmao. Stay frosty.

Personally, I use this gun in early game as it's a great starter weapon. I ditch it when mag weapons are researched, but still much better to begin a new game with. +1

Note: Love this mod. It looks like the movie ammo didn't make it into Shen's workshop! Couldn't fabricate it perhaps?
"10mm explosive tip caseless" would not actually eject casings! It's a good thing that Shen couldn't get the fancy ammo fabricated. The animation of the pulse rifle ejecting casings like an MG42 is amazing. Again good work.

Update 30/3:

-Added korean translation courtesy of @Brain_is_Back.
-Louder firing sounds, just a bit tho.
-Tweaked firing particles, may look wonky in some ocassions, but i like the feeling it has going on, better than previous version in my opinion. It's more chaotic and cinematic.

Well right now it's really low. And you can tell by comparing it to a ballistic rifle. Anyway hope you learn more as you go on. And who knows you might EVEN port the mighty Smart gun as a Cannon :)

@Dragonlord yes, im not sure what the game does, but it lowers the volume on weapon sounds as far as i know. You have to amplify the sounds in another program (like audacity). i've been tweaking it since day one but its hard to get it right, cause if i amplify it too much people will go deaf lol, glad you liked the mod. I'll keep working in the sounds. Thanks for the feedback.

The sound is WAY low and it sounds like someone is shooting hundreds of meters away in the background. But the model looks great. And the projectiles decent. Keep up the good work.

@RoboCobra console commands are not working with the gun, no idea why, will look into it sorry. But researching a new tier like tastiger841 said seems to do the trick. Hope you are not into beam weapons yet.

Unlike armors, weapons have trouble showing mid-campaign, it will work if you upgrade it to the next tier.

@RoboCobra weird, it worked on my campaings. Try the additem command with "PulseRifle", add a _MG or _BM depending of the tier. Tell me if that works.
