Fix what?
It seems they do not have a workshop and that they seem to get angry with people modding their overhaul. I can relate a bit to their position, but it sounds like it's just not ready yet.
That being said, I will likely update this here soon to accommodate for it, as it seems MANUAL INSTALL is required for addons anyway.
Testing continues on my end, and I will update and post here when the patch is applied.
I'm still testing, and it seems okay, but I like to attend to details, so I'll give an extensive test and post if/when I can confirm it is fully functional.
Update
The changes to black reliquary involve changes to the atlas skeleton rig, which I highly suspect will be completely incompatible with this mod, and I don't see myself re-rigging my entire project.
I'll look into it, and see if it somehow magically plays nice with my rig as-is. If it does, great, I'll upload it, if not, this will just have to stay a DD only thing for the foreseeable future.
Thanks for the info, I'll take a look and see what's up there.
If it's fun, I'll probably play it, and if there's any little differences beneath the surface, I'll likely catch them.
I'll go ahead and apply these quick fixes now, and give you credit accordingly for catching them.
I don't outsource my artwork or share rights under non-collab conditions.
I'm unfamiliar with Black Reliquary, it doesn't seem to be an official red hook product, or even a mod for DD.
If the patch can somehow be included in this mod, I would be willing to do so if I am able to see and difference the source files to ensure quality control.
You are welcome to PM me links to github or whatever site you would like to post your code/files.
Thanks for giving this gift to the community!
Just checked, and my version of DD is up to date, and the mod is functioning properly on my end.
abomination.sprite.combat is not of an outdated style, it is paired with a bones file that is produced by a different program than is used by the DD team, because I cannot afford to spend a large sum of money on a program just to make a mod.
As I clearly mention in the instructions for this mod found in the description page, editing the bones file is absolutely necessary for the artwork of this mod to function properly, and no other abomination sprite mods will function alongside it.
I have accommodated for the default male abomination sprite in my work, and it should function properly, this will also function properly with butcher's circus, but only for the first 4 skins, which I have altered to allow for 2 versions of the default male abom, and 2 versions of my female abom.
tl:dr DO NOT USE ANY OTHER ABOMINATION MODS WITH THIS ONE OR YOU MAY EXPERIENCE GLITCHING SPRITES
Sry for such a long delay on response.
Make sure this is the only abomination mod you are using, if someone edits the spine files, things are going to be jacked up.
@Malady The Endurant
Thanks!
Hey, thanks friend! My focus on this has been for anatomical practice and for style emulation. I also just prefer to work on things that are cool rather than 'fanservice'.
That being said, I don't really have any plans to work on more Darkest Dungeon stuff in the forseeable future, this was kinda just me taking a break from work on my next game on the GZDoom engine. If you like my work, you can check my stuff out there.
Name is still Dinosaur Nerd.
I understand, I'll just keep it for myself.
Thanks anyways.
In order to make this work a bit better I needed to reorganize the skins a bit. Everything is still there, it's just reorganized.
Butcher's circus stuff will only work right with the first 4 skins.

If my work helps you learn how to get into art, that's wonderful. That being said, I'd rather you didn't mix my work with other people's things. Red Hook is fine, we more or less know who they are and what they're up to.
I don't really know you or this other person, so I'd rather not have my work involved. However, if you would like to work with me on this or that, I'd be happy to help you get on your feet and make something cool that's 100% yours.
It was probably done to save work, as "canonically" Dismas is probably dead... considering collector has his head. Yet... there's an achievement for winning the game with both Raynauld and Dismas alive and defeating the final boss with them! So 'cannon' in this case is wishy washy at best. Really odd to give Dismas his own head as a magical trinket, haha.
@All the Swears
Thanks much for your support, I am probably not going to be doing any more in the forseeable future, but time will tell. I may look into making this one work for Butchers Circus though if that's possible.
Not to be an ass, but the reason for characters being genderlocked is because they canonically exist as specific characters (the only crusader in the canonical universe is Reynauld, for example), so that is the reason.
I love what you did, it is nice to see the female monster edit alongside the hero.
I have used your monster art to enhance other female abominations for personal use, and it is so great.
I have a NanaSkin modification to their abomination okayed for public release but since it also uses your female monster art I would also need your permission to release that file.
In the future I plan to make a werewolf variant of your edits that I've already concepted.
If any of those are okay or not please let me know, thank you!
Ruin has come to our steam workshop...
I might post a vid explaining some strategy on how to more easily get the most out of using abom, since it seems like one of the more avoided classes. Which is a shame, considering how much damage it can do, and I love to see huge number crits pop up, heh.
