As for getting more data, I absolutely agree. Reading reactor data from a PDA would be awesome, as well as checking critical components' statuses.
Once again, if anyone wants to still use my mod for whatever reason, be my guest. :)
If anything the vanillia one is just poorly conceived since technician and mechanic should get more data. Like Electrician getting power data from reactor and mechanic getting broken machine data on their PDA. ( Talking about things Devs should have added to Vanillia game for their PDA's )
I suppose you're right. You can even buy the modded PDA from shops without needing to level your skills up, so it's good for beginner crews.
So your mod still would be useful for Soldier \ Medic \ Captain
I'm not even sure if that'd be possible. Navigation Terminals requires wire connections to function, unlike Status Monitors. If anything, it's probably beyond my skills, sorry man :(
Mod was replaced by Handheld Status Monitor , available in Mechanic's Technician tree at level 2.
maybe its not worth the effort
you could also use that function to make remote handheld buttons, probably.
No, the handheld monitor does not require water detectors - if you craft the upgraded version it will read water levels regardless of your ship's status monitor. It won't read air levels though.
basically what i want to know is, will the water level readout for a room dissapear on the handheld monitor if the rooms water detector gets unwired?
