I went ahead and did an RE2 update for this one; hope you don't mind. They changed a fair amount, so I had to do a little tweaking, but thankfully nothing too outrageous.

Well we have the docking situation and i couldn't figure out how to do it in another way then with two cockpits. Hapy to help

thanks for the tip i did figure out the double cockpit eventually, bit annoying to run across to each one to re orient and then mine but i can see why neither one being the "main" cockpit is ideal in all situations.I'll try to get it switched around if it continues to bug me

Hi there, because it has basicaly two cockpits, one of them will show the wrong way on the map. If you drive it with the cockpit that you are docking with (as i thought you would) everything is fine. The other Cockpit to the back was onloy thought for mining. That is backwords. If you wont to change that ( i know it can be making you crazy) take it to creative, build a one block tower say 3 or four blocks hight on top of it, place the core temporary there. Then cut the whole ship without the core and place it in again 180° turned. After that put the core back where it was. This should make the mining seat the frontseat and yout mapview in the right direction. But be aware, then the docking seat will show up wrong in your mapview.

arrow on the map is facing backwards when piloting this ship its driving me crazy. also spawns into sectors facing away from the planet. probably gonna scrap this and build something else instead if ts not a bug

Ive tested in another vessels. Theres something inverting the y axis in backwards cockpits. But if i need to use it too much, i can invert in settings while use it lol

ohm nope there is a cocpit in front and int he back and unless they changed something they should both work the same. On the Mapview yoiu will floy backwards with one cocpit but other than that... i will test that.

The tinted window makes it hard to see out of when mining.

I answered in the vanilla version. But my oppinion might also be here of interest. So here is a little quote of my posting:

Thank you so much Allessia. I spawned it in to my vanilla single player game to check it out and it worked like a charm. No forbidden blocks or anything. I was able to put the blueprint into the factory. I mean ... is it even inconpatible to vanilla in any way? o.O

Yes the detector i simple forgot. I took it out along the way and forgot to put in on again. I will put it in while i am working on it

Thanks for your reply Allessia. Awesome, Is it possible to maybe put a sensor/motion detector above the Captains seat like folks do on porters to toggle the thrusters if you are not piloting the ship. This would work like the kill switch on a lawn tractor that shuts it down if you get off the seat. :)

Awesome mining ship other than that. If you tinker with it in creative, can you add a Long Range Radar or at least a detector to find the asteroids?

Yea sory for that. I didn't realised it in creative where you can't die. I am using it now in my survival game and had the same issues. I wil rework it if i get the time for it. Thinking of a sensor, that switches of the thrusters in this particular area when you step in it. Hopefully the signal logic of empyrion let me do this. If not, i need to try a repositioning of the interieur.

Seems to be the thruster near the small constructors, ammo and tp. There is a power safe switch that turns them off tho

I spawned your Helios Drill Module RF in Reforged Eden scenario. I really like the 20 lasers. I think it has to have a detector or better yet, LR Radar on it. Also, something must be done to block off the hot areas of the ship for safety. Stepped on the teleporter and almost died from heat exhaustion. Another area was also way to hot. Could these areas be walled off with that glass that you can see through?

Nope if you have a base you wil get attacked unles you take the core out, but then your base is not working anymore and on most of the servers it wil get deleted after sertin time.

yes but in my opinion with that i look on it with a kind of sad eye, because you can do much with the blocks and texturing. I know i builded boxes, but my Goal was not to let them look pretty when undocked, but look as a part of the Carrier when docked. And at least in my gameplay right now the Modules stay docked the whole time accept the Mining and Abyssal Module.
