to get into 1943NH u need to either leave stalingrad in 1942 or push for egypt in AfricaCorp and then go to the caucasus in Persia

I am trying to play on from Grand Campaign 42 to 43NH but the game keeps crashing. What am I doing wrong?

Thx for mentioning it, sadly those were put in the game by changes to the base game we have no influence in and that sadly do not show up in any patch notes.
The workaround for the ammo glitch, switch the unit to somethign else and back. Sometimes u need to remove the hero too, but usually switching does the trick.
Same happens to zero slot/reduced slot heroes when imported into a campaign. but since u get more slots that way, no one complains.

Finnland Ski will get an update in the historical path in 44. not sure how i want to deal with them in the ahistorical one.

Next thing: Finnland Ski Infanterie 39 from core units dont get an upgrade in Africa campaign, while italian parachuters and iraqi recon get it in the militry training area.

And a bad hack: If you dissolve an allied unit during the setup phase you get the hero from them.
I noticed this whe I need more slots for my big planes and you can use this new heros like your own the rest of the campaign. Maybe this hack runs on every unit not only with plane heros. But you can use this new plane heros for your ground forces...

A little bug report here. I played the Africa campaign and there you get some heros with more ammunition. This ammo bonus only runs for one map. If you use these heros in the next map the ammo bonus is away and if you remove the hero from the unit, then you get a negative "bonus".
For example: You get the hero "Herman-Bernhard Ramcke" who gives parachutists 3 more ammo. You have one map the full bonus 6/6 ammo, next map you have with this hero normal 3/3 ammo and if you remove this hero from the unit, then the unit get 3/0 ammo. That means the unit can fire 3 times and never get mor ammo.
The same problem has "Klaus Schmidt" a hero which gives every unit only one map 3 more ammo and artillery hero "Pawel Arakcheyev".
The AA hero "Walter Gramatzki" which gives AA units 2 more ammo runs good with AA-cars, but if you put him on Flak 36 or Flak 41 you have the same problem like the others.

a good way to reduce turn limits pressure is to take general traits like "meticolous planning" or "agressive deployment".
in the advanced options u can enhance the number of general trais u get at the start of a campaign.

I don't see the turn limit check even in the advanced option, what did I do wrong?
If you're talking about the turn restriction option that you set in the advanced option before the game starts, you don't see it in Panzer Core 1 mode

there is a advanced option to turn off the turn limit.
Mod has not been tested with this, but feel free to try and let us know if u run into trouble.

Great mod ! Just completed 1943 eastern front (historical). Hope to see 1944 eventually... You've done a great job at making the game more challenging strategically. Kudos. Many hours of work are behind this I imagine. Tks.

Dear Community, dear Grondel (Thomas),

I’ve got an unusual Problem….its about LMT Hannut….when I reach the 10th or 11th turn (what ever I do) I lose and I don’t understand why. Btw. I am an experienced player….i love those long Campagnas and I always play them. I am just confused now. Please help and Thank you Thomas for your work!

Thanks for the answer. In the same map "Leningrad41" is another bug, but not so importent. If you reach the first aim Novgorod, then your delivert siege artillery to bring in the position near Leningrad is spawning into the enemy lines. It should spawn, if the enemy is down and the the city is yours. So if you dont have any hidden ambush-unit, which can you place next to the spawned sieg artillery, the enemy will kill this artillery instantly. If a player dont know, that this bug is happen and havent any fast ambush-unit, you lost the game. Maybe there is an endless spawning, if one siege artillery is down, but I dont try it, cause of the little time.

Please, have a look on the map Leningrad41, because its impossible to win. You can eliminate every enemy, reach every bonus and special operation, but the main goal to bring the siege artillery in position is impossible, cause the 7 pieces are too slow for the long way. Not inside 18 rounds time.
The other mission to choose is Kiev and there are 35 rounds time and easy going on highest level.

In NH43, Operation Hinterhalt 2 gives you a special goal to sink enemy carriers and battleships, but they are far beyond any reach of your planes.

Also, is it WAD that the enemy planes are just endless in the NH43 campaign? I am bleeding prestige in every level, even if I get a kill with all of my 8 fighter planes every round. Same goes for their battleships of all kinds with double attack. Is there something I am missing or a guide for this?

Besides from that, thank you very much for this mod. I am having a lot of fun.

Just saw your message below. Since I already experienced crossmods conflict with other mods, I took care to disable all the mods before starting the new campaign, and I started the campaign from the 04.08.25 version beginning with the tutorials.

Btw, what is the reward that you get when you fulfill this objective? I might continue the campaign without it if its not a hero unit.

Additional info: I played the scenario again, starting from a save of the preceding scenario (not the Restart scenario button). When I arrived on the first hex (Airfield position 1) with my first airbase, I got the error message when I attempted to transform the unit. Since the message is relatively discreet, I probably got it on my first playthrough without noticing it, only being aware of the error when my second airbase failed to give the reward upon its own transformation.

If I transform the airbases outside of the dotted hexes, I don't get the error message (but of course no reward either).

only explanation for this i can think of in this context is:
- starting the scenario with several mods turned on that interfere with with the units.csv
- then turning off mods and loading a safe game.
since the units still have the properties from the old dataandare no longerprersent in the new data the error occurs.
Since i am not able to recreate the error on my end, this is the most probable cause for this.
i asked in the slitherine forum for more feedback from others that are experiencing something alike, maybe that will get another explenation.

obviously I'm not alone ;-) No mods installed, only the grand campaign, the latests Version, no splitting of bases etc. And i guess chaurey has the same error.

I deactivated all the mods prior to launching PC1GC (precisely to avoid inter-mod potential conflict).

I wonder if the problem doesn't come from the fact that the second mobile airbase sustained some damage (polish artillery) before converting to its deplyed form.

i had several people reporting the same but am not able to recreate the error.
My current assumption is that another mod is interfering with the games data.
Do u have other mods active besides PC1 remake?

Hello,
There seems to be a bug in the Kampinos scenario (Poland 1939). In the special objective given by Kesselring to make 2 airbases, when the 2nd one (in my case near Modlin) finally converts to an airbase I have an error message appearing (in red - can't find the value or something lioke that) and no reward message (nor reward) appears.

I removed some planes with last patch and forgot to change the counter for the objective.
Will be fixed with next update.
U need 12 comm-points in Narvik to get all rewards.

If u read the briefing u will notice that u have fallen in disgrace with OKH, since u disobeyed orders.
That is why ur commendations are gone.
Just keep going and success in battle will work it out, if u can manage to win the scenarios.

Hi,

i am missing four expeditionary forces in Lillehammer and cant get the Bonus Goal.

Cant find them even with the fog of war turned off. There were two planes that spawned later but killing them didnt advance the counter.

Is there any explanation / something to fix it or a way to add that one commendation point?
Dont want to miss out on a special unit / hero later on

Otherwise enjoying the mod so far.

Before the choice of going to the Suez Canal and retreating to El Alamein, I had 12 commendation points, but after choosing to go to the Suez Canal, the points were cleared (I saved the last round before the selection, which is 18 rounds, to make it easier for me to play the two paths, but when I load that round after the defeat route is played, the commendation points will be zeroed when I load the Suez Canal route again, and the next game will be cleared again.) That is, to choose the Suez route as the first game, the reward points are 0, the second game is 1, and then the third game is still 0) What should I do to solve or avoid similar problems.

What does the "LTD" next to the missions mean, please? It looks like every scenario has an "LTD" version. I don't know what this means. Please advise. Thank you!

Although I play real-time strategy games like MOBAs, even do I play well? But I still prefer the turn-based exploration of certain limits. In short, you did a good job, and I like it very much as a player. I am looking forward to the sequel to the 44-year campaign.:steamhappy:
