Thanks for the feedback «*» ']['øfféL ☆彡, but I'm not going to update this map.
It was uploaded 4 years ago as a gimmick, and I enjoyed making it but I never planned for continous support over the years to come. Honestly, I don't even think I have the original files left since I've reinstalled my OS a couple of times.

this map is not perfect. there are so many trenches in the middle that tanks got stuck all the time. remove one or two trenches and it would be more fun to play

Nice to hear that you like it so much, and thanks a lot for the input Damichem!

I will absolutely have a look at the changes that you wished for, after all, I'm also very concerned about map balancing and it's great that you guys have played it a lot to spot the issues. Making maps balanced from the beginning is really really difficult unless they are compleatly mirrored.

I've got a lot on my hands right now, but hopefully i will find some time to look into this by the end of next week. Hang in there for an update!

Hey man, my community plays this map a lot. BUT... we would very much appreciate some changes be made. If you could put the VP next to the Top and Bottom mid ammos. and make those ammo points regular points, then remove 1 rear regular point from each side. and put regular points where the VPs used to be. So Basically 2 ammo, 2 fuel, 12 regular points.

We have played this map a ton and have noticed some balance issues when it comes to the points. 1) way too much Ammo income. 2) no VP game, because they are so far back on both sides. 3) Regular points bunched up.

So if you can make the changes, my group would love to play this map some more.

Updated and tested. This map should work with Western armies now.

Ok, so I got the Western armies now, and I see the problem. The bases are even too big to fit in the original Base zone, so I'll have to make some bigger changes to those areas. It'll take a little bit longer than a quickfix but I'll be working on it and probably have an update the next couple of days.

Also I'd highly recommend getting back into the game, the new armies are awesome!

Thanks for the update, its better now, only problem remaining is if you play a 4v4 with all US on same side, wont happen to me now that i know but theres that chance, with all US on same side since base is a circle they are close together and trees on the sides wont let tanks to get out, besides that seems fine now, thanks for quickly updating the map :)

Alright, Euphoria and Fyrestorm. I moved the 1-4 starting positions forward, I guess those were the issue. I do not own the western front armies, so it's hard for me to test if I moved them sufficiently, you'll have to help me out here and tell me if I need to move them further.

Also, I haven't played this game for a while now, so I haven't really been paying attention to all the new stuff. But I know how frustrating outdates can be, so thanks you for the heads up! ;)

Yeah playing with americans can only build troops, any vehicles get stuck since they arrive from the back.

Thanks for addressing my question. And yes there is a way to increase the pop cap in the game. However. Due to the fact...again. When I download the map. It don't show up in the maps list in the game. AGAIN I ask the question. If you can't help with your map. Then I gues it's not work the trouble of playing it.

seems like a pretty decent, however i think you should add 2 more fuel points, one on each side, similar to what it had in coh1, other then that the map is built pretty nice and close to the coh1 version :) so thanks for making it, been missing this map aswell as king of the hill 4v4 map :) (not hill 331)

will download and give it a try. looks big, but hopefully it isn't too much land to compensate for. And good call on the popcap issue. EVERY map doesn't need the popcap removed. Besides, once you get past 100 in pop (like you said) you should be able to win most battles before the end as well as the fact that your manpower goes up wayyy slower with a bigger army. I'll let you know what i think of it sometime tomorrow

Thank you guys for this overwhelming attention, I really didn't expect this when i uploaded it!

Thought I might give you guys a heads up for my future plans of this map.

I'm planning on adding Victory Point support as soon as I find some time for it, hopefully soon.

As for now, I have no intention of increasing the popcap of this map. It is a far too critical asset of the COH game-balance to be messed with without good reasons. Neither me nor the friends I'm testing this map together with have felt any need for an increased popcap other than for reasons like getting a fifth IS-2 out, but by that time your army should be strong enough to crush anything the enemy can come up with anyway ;) Also, I'm not sure if the steam workshop really needs another "extra popcap" map at the moment, so you'll have to make do with the already existing ones, for the time beeing.

like it very much. the trenches are in a very well position in the middle of the map and on 4v4 the popcap/100 is ok and dont need more i think.

Really nice map layout, but there is something wrong with atmospheric lightning, it looks very flat. Can you fix this?

I've played this twice now and also being someone who played the original a lot, i would have to say that this is an excellent remake. Well balanced and well thought out. If it had been made exactly like the original, it would not have worked. That fuel point right in the middle directs the majority of conflict there, making games very action packed. Again, very well redesigned for COH2. Furthermore the pop cap is fine where it is. Any more or less might unbalance the map due to its size or make rounds longer then they need to be.

i love this map its very balanced and fun to play, would like to see the sides of the map shorter but thats just my taste, other then that IF YOU CANT GET IT ON THE LIST ON MAPS THEN KEEP TRYING< IT TOOK ME LIKE 5 TIIMES TO SUBCRIBE. SRY FOR CAPS
