i keep having to waite sometimes 5 or 4 turns each upgrade is that normal i wanted a 1turn research still is best than 8 or more each one

This mod works perfectly for vanilla and ROTS, but I thought it was a bit too fast in FOTS. For those interested, I made a 50% version . I would still recommend using this mod for vanilla and rots, as those campaigns are truly awful for research speed

Can't make any mods for shogun. CA's last update with the 'modern' mod launcher made none of the mods work for me, so I can't make or test anything.

It should be updated now. Had a problem with the new launcher because it wouldn't update, or do anything in fact. Turns out the new way to upload mods requires the thumbnail to be a .png and not a .jpg like it was in the past. A good change that I wish they would have mentioned somewhere. If any of you in the future want to ask legacy mods to be updated mention this in case the modder doesn't know.

sorry but after I tested this mod one by one with other mod, it appear that this mod still in work. However, after the update somehow this mod doens't work with some mod that used to be working along just fine.

It works. Practically it halves time required to research technology but remember:
4 turns ---> 2 turns; 5 turns ---> 3 turns; 15 turns ---> 8 turns.

I don't know how much "X%" faster means for the game, I've not done any testing. I just know it makes the times shorter by some amount.

I do not know. You could launch it with darth mod and then go to your research tab, and hover over available research, and if it says "Research rate: 100%" or something like that then it's working.

Hmm, with my modding knowledge, best I can do is edit the player generals to make them stronger(not changing AI generals). I can't in make a specific general unit stronger while leaving others as they were. And the change would indeed affect all player controlled generals.

I want 500% HP single entity general player only, let we kill AI general just normal way, dont make em harder to kill, its frustrating

Sure I can do that. What kind of specifications would you like? I can edit all unique generals (meaning important generals you get as the player in the beginning of the campaign). Would you like them to have double the bodyguard size, or just more hit-points(rome 1 style I assume), or better combat statistics to help them in a fight?

can you tweak the single general that die often, to having more HP 300-500% so he can't just pee away and leave the family tree empty and we lose by lacking of general/family members
