The only thing I do no link about this ship is the entry to the docking bay where the entry slopes upward. I may have to try retrofitting this myself. Love Space Wanderer's Seeker Ships.

Every time I try to fall in love with another CV I keep coming back to this gem. The Seeker is -
- Fast and maneuverable
- Quick access outside from captain's chair
- Mining cockpit!
- Enough grow plots to keep the crew fed
- You can land it in narrow spaces
- Storage-to-ship size ratio is just right for my play style

You'll need to remove the Solar Capacitors for this to work in the latest version of Reforged. Otherwise, looks like a beast!

@Cragz UK - 2.1 Million is the max CPU allocation for a CV assuming you have the Basic CPU, 2 Improved CPUs, and 5 Advanced CPUs. Going above 2.1 Million requires either an Aux or Quantum.

2.1 Mil CPU without Aux or Quantum.. how ? my ship is is relatively small but ended up class 4 with 1.9m / 1,850,000. Its only half fit and 20 turrets max.

Just trying to work out the solar panel logic, the ones on the bottem make sense but the internal ones in the hanger. Is there some logic I am not seeing?

Love all your other designs and moving onto this one, but just trying to understand the solar logic

@Thomas.m60 I've taken this ship as is to Midnight planets with 4.6g and while it takes a while to get off the planet (5-6 meters/second going up) it does actually get off the planet. This is in RE, with some upgrades (added weight, no added thrusters).

I love this ship, I've done a little bit of modding for RE. I replaced the decoy small gens with more cannon turrets and they are less explody. The only modification I'm having trouble with is moving all the large fuel tanks in the nacelles. Unfortunately if you loose one of the large engines you actually end up losing that whole nacelle in RE because of the placement. If you lose the left nacelle you lose shields, right nacelle you lose warp. The funny part is, you have to lose one of the large thrusters, if you lose the drive thruster that's all you lose. Trying to find places to move the fuel tanks to keep the number of fuel tanks, but not have catastrophic failures.

Again, great ship, I love the design and the maneuverability of it.

Hi am loving this ship , I wish j the hangar was a bit bigger , as i am on Sp , i do not want a fleet of ships , but have a question , can i add more Thrusters for a 4g planet

Indeed! I completely understand limiting R.E. only assets to not have to completely cannibalize the ship to spawn it in vanilla. The auto pedestrian ramp is super simple and will work in vanilla too. I just need to master your circle strafing technique and then go AUX CPU hunting. Many thanks again for the fine work!

@SLI_Fallen, very nice modification. Actually, I tried to keep the compatibility with Vanilla game, so could not use any of the RE only items. so, your change is quite good choice as you are RE user :) Once you get the Aux CPUs you will have much more freedom to add stuff. It would be difficult to get the first Aux, but after making the first one, I am sure you can enjoy the full potential of this ship. Hope you can enjoy the journey :steamhappy:

Doh!! Thanks for clarifying. Turret returned. :-) I did make a few changes to suit my playstyle. Ditched the offline protect. (as I only play SP) Also swapped the deco radar dish for the long range radar. This required also ditching all the constructors except for one and adding 4 more crew to keep CPU compliant. I felt up front (again, just my playstyle), it was more important to see whats around than processing resources concurrently. Finally I made a very slight change to the second level floor to add a motion sensor to automate the mid-ship pedestrian ramp. Now, as Elmer Fudd would say "Need more buwwets" ;-)

@SLI_Fallen, thanks for your kind comment. nonetheless please check my following comment before changing the original design :)

1) Please do not remove the internal turret. It is essential part of design - a decoy turret.
It is intended to attract bullets from Zirax ships which will target your turret first. So, it is your best interest not to remove the internal turret otherwise Zirax ships will target your Artillery Turrets or front plasma or rocket turrets, which are your main fire power. The internal cannon turret is surrounded by XENO blocks, so until it is destroyed, most of bullets will aim this internal cannon first.

2) Landing gear is an option. I will publish my next carrier ship. the new carrier ship will have docking system that requires front gear. so it is up to you to remove the gear :)

I FINALLY got enough resources to spawn this ship in a Reforged Eden game and, um. there are a couple of issues (I spawned it in reforged creative mode as well to confirm this), One of the cannon turrets that's supposed to be underneath is spawning inside the middle of the ship in a room on top deck! Also, a retractable landing gear is mounted right on the tip of one of the nose pieces. Easily fixed (by me) , but might want to make the changes. Now I have to try, what will be , the biggest, baddest, CV I have ever flown. I just need way more resources now just to make all the ammo! haha! Thanks!!!

yeah SEEKER XE MK2 Full Xeno yes... i hope soon, in case you stay class 3 is perfect... the other one feels to big for me to run arround. well i use the Full seeker version. Just JRandel had the carrier so i did not think you would also make one as there are a lot modules. for the fight ship yes maybe without grow, i never use them to be fair.. but ok some do. the etreme fighing would be also my goal as i need alien stuff , i always like your stuff a lot

@H-DE Actually, I intend not to change SEEKER XE, but maybe will make SEEKER XE MK2... I am currently working on other modular carrier stuff... so might take more time. For this carrier, I have separate dropship, so I designed separate space combat ship without hangar, growing plots, normal containers, which gave me much more freedom & extreme fighting agility. But this does not support any ground combat or dropship capabilities.

For all in one concept, surely, I can add more thrusters or upgrade thrusters, but would need another advanced constructor, so I would need different design. I would say 4 downward Drive (XL) thrusters would be needed for high g after testing with my new drop ship even with M/V on. (assuming 10 kt weight)

Awesome ship! I appreciate the use of xeno blocks; best armor to weight ratio and only takes some salvaging of POIs after clearing the creepy residents out (fun to do, too!). Looks like the perfect upgrade from an early game ship. Also, thank you for posting these great designs for Reforged!

@Atlar, Also, I forgot to update this ship version to add one decoy turret;;;, so I updated now for you to evade effectively. This update is important for RE 1.4 update because the imperial turrets on Zirax ships are now directly aiming at your turrets, not generators. This will help you to evade the bullets more easily. Sorry about that. If you do not want to rebuild from factory, just add one projectile turret in front of toilet (inside of ship) after removing the furniture.

@Atlar, Thanks for using my ship. Yes, the design intention is to upgrade first before any serious battle. The hardest part is the initial battle with drone faction to gather salvaged drone processor to get first Large Auxillery CPU. Then, the first upgrade you would have to do is to add more turrets. After you install all 45 turrets, you can defeat Kamirat Class Battlecarrier easily. If you do not have CPU limit, please directly build full version @https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2398966667 .

Amazing design, great style and details!

Having trouble with combat, though... tried vs Kamirat Class Battlecarrier. The firepower does not seem to be enough or I'm just not good enough at evading? I can get it to like 50% shields but then I always have to retreat because my shields are down...
Do I have to get better or upgrade the ship?

@TopAce6 I published full version with 8 Heavy Missile Turrets, please refer to the description for the link. I found it is not so difficult to get 8 large (advanced) turret upgrade kits, which can be found at trading posts (1 per station). To upgrade and repair, you would need lots of upgrade kits, so it is up to you to decide whether upgrade further turrets or not.

@TopAce6 Forgot to mention maxed out version with Heavy Turrets.... I have some dilemma for Heavy Turrets because I did not know its availability when I designed this ship. 1) Too heavy & big size bullets. I would need at least 4x 320k Ammo Storage if M/V is on. 2) The turret itself is too heavy 3) too high CPU cost. 3) Need Advanced Turret Upgrade Kit for blueprint production, which would be not convenient to get in the early-mid game.

So, please allow me to have more time to decide what would be recommended max version for SEEKER XE and publish the max version.

@ H-DE, Thanks for suggesting O2 in Main Bridge. I will put it in Main Bridge . For the cargo boxes... It is actually up to you to decide. The reason cargo boxes are there is to put weapons and some of the non-stackable items to be there. Nonetheless I will take out some.

so I would take out all cargo boxes in the war room and put a nother Container Controller in there with rest space were the boxes are, so less in the menu.. also i would put O2 and health on main brigde and O2 on bumper bridge. i am so happy with the overall desing you made it for me...also i would also push the maxed out version as now so happy... we can replace the turret to the RE heavy also. need to see were to get the kits we need..

where it says you can upgrade to more turrets, am i blind or are the marks where to place them completely missing? same for Drills, and the Solar panels already seem to be installed.

ALSO if i upgrade it to all heavy turrets, would you be interested in the blueprint?
So you have a Blueprint for a fully maxed out version of this?

@H-DE thanks for your kind comment:) I could not fully tested battle capability in RE yet because RE 1.4 has some chain explosion issue - too easy to win the battle. Nonetheless, RE 1.4 is amazing. New Turrets are available for players and much more contents to explore. Next time I may not be able to build a ship compatible with Vanilla game.
