now you know that the FPS of the game is locked at 60. A very useful mod

using any mod will set that flag, i don't think a disclaimer is necessary considering every mod causes this

This is great, however you should put a disclaimer that using this in a run WILL set the "used mods=yes" flag in any run!!

You got a Golden Unicorn award for that. It was razer cortex thank you so much that was bugging me.

if it's not caused by that, i'd suggest also checking any recently updated or downloaded apps that might be causing it. however if you're worried about the mod possibly being the cause, unsubscribing from it should cause steam to delete the mod automatically so you shouldn't have to do anything else. however, the mod is downloaded to the above path, which is made up of noita's app id (881100) and the mod's workshop id (2385475299, this can be seen in the url of the workshop page). you can check if the mod is installed there (there shouldn't be a folder by that name if it's not installed).

i hope that any of the tips here helped, but since the fps counter isn't the one from my mod i can't really offer more that generic tech support tips.

it doesn't look like it's the fps counter from the mod (the font is different, and it's by default colored white). if you want to check if the mod is installed, you should find it in the workshop folder (path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\881100\2385475299 ). the fps counter should also disappear when you pause noita, and if it was active outside of noita, it should show 0 fps due to it counting the time it takes for noita's game world to update (which in noita's case is tied to framerate, so using it as the basis for fps calculations works).

the fps counter in your images looks similar to the one in Razer Cortex, which can be toggled on with a button input, Ctrl+Shift+F by default. if you have that installed, maybe it's possible that you accidentally toggled it on?

I made sure it wasn't the Nvidea FPS counter or the Steam fps counter. It only started showing once I got the mod. I also can't find the FPS mod in the Noita mods and don't know where it would be in the Steam workshop folder. Its just lots of numbered folders.

there shouldn't be any way for it to appear in any other games due to it relying on noita's modding api, much less ones that aren't even launched via steam. do you have a screenshot or something like that?

It seems to be running on other games as well for me. I have a unwanted fps counter in the same position as the Noita one from this in Valorant.
