@Xegemon Very kind of you to say! Glad you enjoy it. (:
i've been busy working on my own game where you shoot neon spaceships and explore a strange star system, so come find me on my weekly livestream: http://drewvancamp.com/live or 24/7 discord: https://discord.gg/4FnyGMm
if you have any new questions or requests about Sky Machine, feel free to post as usual. i'll try to keep a closer eye on this again.
maybe one day i'll tweak things, but i wouldn't want to break the experience for 95% of people who currently like it. perhaps i can simply offer better courses in the future. at the moment i'm too busy making my own games: http://drewvancamp.com/games
in reply to the other recent commetns: 1) yeah, it's easy to get points 2) you're missing all the cool aspects, and 3) have you actually tried to leave it running overnight to see how far you get? you might run into a little trouble, i suspect.
lol glad some people just like getting points and all, but the course is built mainly with exploration, stunts, and cool experiences in mind. for example, see how high up you can get within those giant, tiered structures and if you can access some of those hard to reach places. and don't forget surviving the boss fights. (:
i've got another playlist inspired by / inspiring my own game in development: https://open.spotify.com/user/drewvancamp/playlist/2XnO42Ugj4FE88dCPZb2id — you might find it fitting as well for Race The Sun / Sky Machine. (:
thank you so much, CAMPER. (:
@belbonassa thanks for the love and I also think making it harder would indeed improve it for lots of people. for now, though, I'm busy making my own game but would love to do more RTS mods some day if I had the kind of time it takes available.
