its a comp, not a mod, so it wont show in the launcher. once downloaded it will be avaible to spawn from the composition tab in the editor
Kai 18 Jul, 2024 @ 10:57am
why doesn't it show up in the mods in the launcher

yea that all got .50 cals on their tops, mainly for AA as the gunners so exposed
Halfeatendorito 27 Oct, 2023 @ 4:04pm
wait did you add the browning machine gun?

I was using the base sherman without objects attached so it must be a mod conflict, cheers anyway turfy

the AI can use them just fine, they are just normal ifa3 shermans with some objects attached and their main guns replaced with the default 105mm form the base game. in your setting make sure you have the indipendant faction set to view the other factions as hostile, if the issue persists my only other guess is that it could be a mod conflict.

AI gunners using these tanks don't fire?

PS: the M1 SUPER Sherman was called a super Sherman because of its better suspension which gave the crew a much smoother ride and earned it the SUPER name

Hey just for historical accuracy here's some KNOWLEDGE, The M51 was never called "Super Sherman" inside the IDF the M4A3E8 was called "M1 Super Sherman" the reason its M1 and not M4 is because all Shermans in Israeli service (except for the M51 will get into that later)
were designated after the cannon, so the normal Sherman with 75mm cannon was named M3 Sherman cause the cannon is an M3, and the 76 version was called M1 cause it had an M1 cannon, and 105mm (ww2 era howitzer ones) were called M4s after well the M4 cannon (they were sometimes called M4 support tanks or support Shermans) and the M50 was called M50 cause of its CN-75-50 cannon, the M51 was called M51 not because of its cannon (the french Model F1) but because it was seen as the continuation of the M50 so they just went one number up, please check out tank encyclopedias articles on M50s and M51s online or watch the narrated version in video format on youtube.
