@Mf99k Thanks so much for worrying! K8 The Gr8 and I play together. It only happens when I join their world.... They play as Alfur and the second it loads me in, it says WARNING and says disable mods or exit game. So, yeah, it only happens when you join another player's world that has this mod on.

@RiotGirl, @K8 The Gr8 do either of you have a crash log or any specific error? its easier to fix when there's a clear cause of the problem. I'll try to bug test later but idk how much time I'll have to check

To be honest, he seems ludicrously easy, since everything is neutral. as long as he doesn't attack, he's flat out immortal, no strings attached. Can't starve. Won't lose HP. He's horrifically overpowered.

shadow creatures are neutral to Alfur and will not attack him under most circumstances unless provoked.

3. Use traps to kill spiders. If a spider wanders into a trap, it falls on them, killing them without aggroing any other spiders. Once you have 6 silk, make a top hat. That can help massively.
4. Pick and eat cooked cactus. Despite the 6 health penalty, which means Alfur will die after picking 5 (take some butterfly wings. Armor can reduce the damage taken as if it was an enemy hit.) Cooked cacti provide 12.5 hunger (one and a half days for him), 15 sanity, and 1 hp.
5. Mass produce bee boxes. Making taffy is a great sanity source, and he'll need it for the long winter nights, especially with his inability to go fight mactusk.

There are a few good ways.
1. Picking flowers. Most characters, never ever pick flowers. Alfur, he kinda needs it more than others, since he can't survive a single nightmare creature hit. 5 sanity per flower.
2. Cooked greencaps and bluecaps. Cooked creencaps will take away 1 health, and give 15 sanity. Cooked bluecaps will take out 3 health, and give 10 sanity.

How to restore sanity?

3. Stay at high sanity. Insanity will kill you, considering you get 1 shot by nightmare creatures. For nightmare fuel purposes, craft it out of evil flowers, renewing them with homeless bees.
4. Don't sweat food. No need for a ton of food prep for winter, you only use 8 hunger a day. spend the time on other aspects, such as bee boxes or working on your base.
5. Have enemies kill other enemies. If you manage to get a tier 3 spider nest and survive, place it by a mactusk hut. You can walk by later for the tam of shanter and tusk.
6. Truly need a kill? use a tooth trap and constantly reset it. To get the teeth in the first place, use a pig!

A few tips for anyone playing Alfur.
1. Don't fight spiders yourself, make a trap. They can two hit you, and your damage output is a joke. Since they won't aggro naturally, putting a trap right under them or baiting it with monster meat can get you spider loot.
2. Make your base a naval base. If it's on land, the deerclops or antlion will destroy it, and you don't have the combat capacity to handle them.
