PUSH is going to be an official mode, so you just need to put the locations down for everything. Ask on the pavlov discord if you need any more info.

@Adli3tr I think you're describing Anzio though I'm not forcing russia/usa--I believe it's just random when the map loads. I'll look at implementing push, though I've been doing some work on reproducing the original day of defeat capture point system.

Is this the map where the allies start on the beach? And is the map scripted to be only America vs Germany? When I played the map the americans were wiped out pretty badly and it seemed like it was a map/spawn issue. Either way I'd love to play with the soviet weapons on these maps too.

Do you think you'll add PUSH to these maps? It would be perfect for all of them.

This is amazing! I used to play DoD: Source constantly. I WANT TO GET A PAVLOV SERVER FULL OF DoD FANS. and play these maps with ww2 guns. I have been doing that by myself with bots hoping people will just join the game, but I want peole who actually played DoD in there so we can relive our DoD days in VR. Thank you so much for this and please keep working on it. I love that the spawns are just like in DoD. Great job so far! Pavlov is working on some Domination/Capture the flag stuff for the ww2 update but im sure you are aware.

@ThreeDee Looks like the built-in capture the flag mode is classic capture the flag and not about control points or anything. I swear I've seen something resembling the control point style DoD game mode before, though. I'll search around but it might be something I'd have to implement myself and would take more effort than just dropping a control point on the map.

I dropped a KOTH spawn in the middle so that works now. I haven't played a ton of KOTH--do you have any input on how many of these spawns should exist and how they ought to be distributed?

Oh yeah KOTH could be good here. I know there is some kind of capture the flag mode in pavlov but it had certain restrictions last time I looked. I take a fresh look at both of these.

is it even possible to add the capture the flag element like from the original?

Can you place the KOTH Areas in the inner courtyard? This would be great.

Thanks for playing, everyone! @[Spackenz]Metzgerjunge I recently asked about this in the Pavlov developer discord. The only response so far was a :thinking: emoji from the main developer so the ability to configure team countries might not yet exist. Every other DOD map I've ported has this problem so I'll be sure to update when it's sorted out.

Bots work now. They seem to mostly keep to the main street but I've added a bunch of hints for their movement in the more complicated side routes.

I definitely want to get bots going but first I'm smoothing out the dumb stuff added by the conversion tool I used. Should be soon.
