Removing the saved files wasn't the solution. When I try to load a freshly saved game, It fails with the following message: "You cannot play/edit this mission; it is dependant files ...". One of the files mentioned (ns_plants) I found in the mod @namalsk.
After also loading this mod everything worked fine.

Could be, missions and mods are constantly updated. I'll clean de saved game file(s) and try again.At least I know it should be possible.

@StackTrace. This can occur if a) you have updated your version of Arma3 since your last saved game, b) the author published an updated version of the mission, or both. There might be other circumstances where this happens but the above two are the most common I have come across.

Hi, nice mission! I have a question about saving (single player); this seems to worl, but loading is a different story. I get a message like "You cannot edit . .. .. " and after that I can only restart the complete mission.

Hiya Toxic. Have you made some changes recently? Played coop just now. No enemy re-inforcements came and the chopper pilot arrived on foot without his helo????

hmm, kinda hard need to revive AI all the time... you have set the value to make everyone needing medikit to revive teammates so you pretty much need everyone to carry an medikit...

chopper made it's way to town without mods. With CBA pilot spawns near the chopper but not inside :)

well, we managed to clear the town negadez and then smth went terrible wrong:
1) two pilots came to us by foot and just stand there "taking to each other"
2) we saw some bad guys on the beach and cleared them then we resived task to get Sanchez to alt. LZ
3) as Sanchez was standing back in Negadez we just make our way without him to the task point and got task "bring Sanches to alt LZ" completed.

Hi again! Me and my buddies tried to play through it last night, but there seems to be another problem: Some trigger after the first chopper-event does not work. The patrol in northwest is not activated, and Sanchez will not move.

This mission no longer works on dedicated server, probably due to map-updates? I get "Bad link to static object"-error.

Thanks Insurgent, saving is enabled so I don't know why you can't save more than once, unless this is a restriction of Arma. AI suck at the best of times, it's always better in co-op ;)

Headhunter, there is a text message informing you that the LZ is clear and an extraction is inbound, so I'm guessing you missed it.

As for the pilot showing up instead of a Heli, all I can figure is a mod (don't know which one) is causing that. If you could let me know what you had active, that would be a great help.

Tone down your AI. Elaborate on what will happen in your mission. I don't want to have to hunt down every single fucktard in the town just to get Miguel's ass out of there. Maybe some radio comms or text informing the player that a helo is on the way? I don't expect to see a pilot run up and say hello for an extract.

Hmm strange. I saw the lines about the revive script. I had a Medikit, did it in SP and was playing myself, not the AI. Yet I will try once again, could be a intern script error of ArmA self (we know how ArmA can respond right). I'll keep you updated if it's a real bug. Cheers.

Put "savegame" in the ON ACT box of a waypoint or trigger. waypoint if you are confident that they will pass over the point, but a trigger (using ellipse or rectangle) if you want to autosave when they move into an area or cross a line.

Manual save is possible. I have found it is a good idea to save in SP just before and after key engagements or after you have travelled long distances that take up time or where there was a risk of damaging vehicles etc

Thanks for the feedback Big Jas, the tasks are implemented by script, but I don't really know how to rearrange them if objectives are done in a different order. I'll see if I can work it out and update the mission when I find the answer.

Big Jas, thanks for sujjest. I just stucked about same problem. I'd sniped AA until assault in town for secure LZ. secure Miguel but new LZ task is still current even destruct AA launcher by RPG.
