The hit- and hurtboxes for her normals, aerials and strongs are just sandberts.
The specials have been tweaked and I really like them!
The animations are a bit sloppy at best and could really use some work...
Good job on the sound effects though, keeps it a little distinct!
It has potential to be great if you're willing to put the work into it!
*their , it just comes off as low effort honestly, and ripping sprites that arent freely available isnt ethical in the slightest. You can make a character look how theyre supposed to look in rivals style pretty easily as the many creations here have shown
Me pointing out its dissapointing that nearly all the assets in this creation are ripped along with the moveset being sandbert reskinned with poor physics isnt bashing them, its pointing out major flaws in a character they deemed to be a "serious" one. @Beardedyeti13
This isnt true, characters at the very least will retain unique hitboxes and framedata on *most* of their moves, not the case here
> they said it's a serious character which will be further updated
If the plan is to update it doesn't make sense to release in such an unfinished state where much of the moveset would have to change to be fixed, it simply doesnt make sense. If the character is updated to make it more unique then I would have absolutely no problem retracting my statements ofc
While I totally agree, and some of the most fun characters for me have been ones that break conventions with art style, the issue is its not made for in the "well balanced" or "creative" department, as nearly all moves are just sandberts, and the characters physics simply do not function in the setting of the game
While the physics at first seem ok, the poor jump height forces double jumps for aerials, while the double jump is wayyy overtuned making them hard to control, and this poor mobility isnt helped by the lack of stage control mechanic
despite the mixels, she doesnt look too bad in game though and the animation is great (albiet ripped from another game)
