Hi man! I am an old Rome 2 player and I can say that I found the most realistic battle mod but there is a problem.The towers are firing too much and when the A.I. tries to capture them they lose more than a half.Could you resolve it?

Destroy the towers before begining an assault. That's the whole point of it :) You can either bring artilery or use fire arrows.

The arrow tower are now overheming strong, there no way to attack camps fort's...

I'm pretty sure royal spartan does not lose against an hillman as I played countless hours with this mod :)

Here's the deal: Romans\Greeks are defensive nations. They boost their strenght by using formations. Like shield wall, phalanx, hoplite wall.
Barbarians\Iberians Use abilities instead of formations. Hit and run\ambush tactics work best for them.
Carthaginians and Eastern factions have mixed style troops. Some are ability based some are formation based.

The reason why hillmen destroyed your spartans is because you likely did not use formation and/or were attacked in the flank or rear.

Indeed. It's just for a small period of time. You probably activated abilities. You'll find that Romans, Greeks and such, when in formation have higher defence. So Barbs will have super high attack in short bursts.

I can't update the game... My Rome II does not run since patch 15... I have currently no mods active and it still does a CTD on loading screen.... So while this isn't fixed I won't be able to update it. This still runs with patch 14 so feel free to play it there.

Okay. I must start working on the patch 15 tough... But my game didn't run on patch 14 when you first messaged me, I did my small tweak it started working. They probably added new units and I had a tweak about the civil war which must be messing things up with patch 15. But for now I'll be having the mod work with the current patch (without betas) Anyway, if you find any bug report please =P (BTW you can't recruit units if you move your troops first, this is on purpose! You will , however, get a fort when recruiting units. *For realism* )

Okay mate. It's working for me now.

I didn't, however, update anything at all. Just made a few changes to be compatible. I'll look into it when I have more time. Do tell me if there are fucked up units and such tough. If I know what is wrong I can quickly fix it.

Yes, it's updated most of them, but still not all, for example some units of the eastern factions and mecenary units have vanilla covers and the Averni faction unit cards are same as vanilla, could you make it so they are all the same please!

I had forgoten to update this. Eventough I play only with my mod I usually don't really mind that. I do battle and campaign tweaks here and there when I think it's needed but rarely pay any attention to the looks of things. x) Anyway it should be updated now :D

Hehehe :P Siege weapons become a must with this mod. To take them towers down ^^ And use archers with fire arrows to take wooden towers down too ^^

This mod is shitting amazing! After a single siege battle where I took an enemy Eastern city I lost almost my entire army, the combat went on so long I lost most of my men to hostile arrow towers. Oh and don't make me mention the battle for the gates and the main plaza.... 30 minutes of blood, gore and horror, exhausting horror. I love it! The God king feels an almost human chill down his spine. I salute you sir!

If the mod changes the recruitment times that may also make the horses disappear because the mod will have info not only about recruitment times but also about every other aspect of a unit.

As the number of mounts and number of units values are in different files if you just change one of them it will f**k up the cav. Because my mod has cav sizes increased.

However if you want more units per turn just build more military buildings. each military building gives a +1 recruitment slot meaning in the Rome province you can have up to 5 units per turn ;)

BTW do you have reduced recruitment times that has every unit recruit in 0 turns or that makes units who take 2 turns to recruit take only 1?

I did find an error on the Socii Equites and Socii Equites Extraordinarii which are now fixed, however, the general, leg cav and aux cav are alright.

If you have a mod that messes with ALL cav units or some of them, hence, just the roman cavalry units then if they change the number of men and not the number of mounts (if they're different) the men will appear or 2 men in 1 horse or no horses at all.

Are you using any only roman troops mod?
This could be the cause if it didn't just add units and the modder didn't erase the old data from other units.

When i use this mod with a mod that adds a new unit or a mod that uses shortens build, research and recruitment the horses for the calvary disapears and they are stuck on foot

Too the few requests of working with DEI... I am not interested in that. But you could use Pack File manager to put my stuff in there and erase their homologous folders. It would just take a little while. :)
