Creepy how mods like this are made and then forgotten

I regret to inform you, the reader of this comment, that I have terminated development of this map indefinetly. It has gotten to large and to complex for Hammer to handle, and I wish to move on to other projects. I regret that this is the case, but to make up for it, I have an announcment;

And here it is.

I have decided to open-source this map for others to edit (if they feel up to it) and publish as their own. Just, you know, give me a little credit. Copyright law and all. Anyways, all you have to do is play the level, and enter the command puzzlemaker_export (level's savename) into the developer console, and it will be yours to edit. I wish everyone who does so the best of luck, I can't wait to see what you'll come up with!

Live Long and Prosper,
Trevithan

It's a work in progress. I've been doing other things lately. Rest assured that this will be addressed. Also, look at the discussions to leave a question, give a suggestion, or lodge a complaint.

It's great you have some inspiration but regardless of that inspiration, the button effectively ending the map is anticlimatic. I just shrugged afterwards. If that's the effect you were after then you're doing a good job. If you wanted the player to feel something more then that I suggest trying something else with it.

I only suggest humor since there's a precedent within your own chamber for it - namely the reaction from the robot you can touch - obviously there could be as many possibilities as your imagination allows nevertheless pressing a red button that blows up something seems cliche so again that's why I shrugged at it.

Yes I did complete the chamber.

This level was inspired by the Stanley Parable ending that happened when you pressed the Yes button instead of the No button in the mind control room . What would you have liked to happened, a voice says "Oh fiddlesticks, what now?" instead? And did you try to enter the test chamber ?

Unfulfilled potential. I like the start but the 'puzzle' is lacking. It might also be nice if the red button gave a comedic response instead of blowing up the test (not that much fun). Hope you update it and it gets better. You're off to a good start.

Only two. Thousand.

How many "endings" are in this level?
Tactical Shrubbery  [author] 2 Mar, 2014 @ 3:50pm
Please note that any questions you have that you would want a response from would go under the Suggestions disscusion. And yes. There is an actual equippable portalgun in the test chamber.
Acht_V_OVI 2 Mar, 2014 @ 3:24pm
are you meant to be able to pick up the portalgun, the way you do other objects?

Think of this as version 2.0.

Sorry, had to re-post. It wouldn't update.
