@Shinoskay: "I didn't port it for you people"

Uh, ok. Why did you bother making this mod (which was created by someone else) Publicly Viewable, then?

I didnt port it for you people.

seriously. im not even a modder and you guys are all acting like im the rude guy here.

If you all have a problem then go re upload it yourself,

stop complaining to me, I'd think all my "do it yourself" messages would have made it pretty clear by now.

im not here for you guys.

1/ it would be courteous to provide a link to the GIT [github.com] to the tool and to credit its original author, Mehni

2/ did Mehni confirm that the tool still worked in 1.3 ? checking the GIT, I can see an update for 1.2 one year ago as latest commit. A lot could have happened code-wise with the release of the Ideology DLC, and I'm not experienced enough to answer that question. I'd appreciate it if someone could confirm.

This being said, this tool has proven invaluable to me when I discovered it with 1.0 I believe. At that time, many mods had issues that less experienced mod authors were not yet accustomed with. Educating even mod users (or players) on some basic good modding practices is beneficial to the whole community.

Therefore thank you for taking of your time to upload the tool to the Steam Workshop.

did you see the github
Geobeetle 23 Feb, 2022 @ 9:28am
I did, it just says it "produces yellow warning errors". Where can I see these? how do I know what mod is creating it? Are they in the logs? Because I don't see anything different in those. This might be my fault for not knowing something about the logs but I would appreciate a little tutorial in the description telling me exactly where to look.
Shinoskay  [author] 22 Feb, 2022 @ 6:25pm
did you try google? or reading the previous comments?
Geobeetle 17 Feb, 2022 @ 10:32pm
I have no idea how this mod is supposed to work but there's nothing in the logs or in mod options. If the description was more useful then I could figure it out, but currently, I have no idea how to use this mod or even if it works.

Best details are on its main page: https://github.com/RimWorld-CCL-Reborn/AllYourBase

(I came here from there, looking for a Steam link as that's more convenient today - so thanks John.)

@CarOlin it detects whether a mod is doing its thing by overwriting vanilla base defs. This is considered bad practice as it causes compatibility problems, and there are usually other ways ti accomplish whatever needs doing.

That's what I understand it to be anyway.
CaroleinReaper69 1 Jan, 2021 @ 10:22am
I am a bit confused by the description. What does it exactly do?
