@Frosted Vert. I definitely agree, I'll do some digging and see if I can come up with some higher-magnification optics. 8x just isn't gonna cut it for the KSVK-14.5 or the upcoming calibers like 12.7x114mm or 14.5x132mm.
I realize that the doctrine of Russian marksmen is different, and that the SVD is to extend a section's engagement envelope and the KSVK is an anti-material rifle, not for engaging point targets at long range, but are there no optics to engage targets like a western sniper. Maybe used by the MVD or various Counter-Terrorism units?
I could see re-chambers of the KSVK being practical enough to fall under the main mod, no?
