Can you remove the NVG on the helmet? It feels wrong to have 2 NVGs at once.

The Heavy is wearing MICH helmet with sand color and goggles, the Light and Unarmored models are wearing a FAST helmet with ranger green and olive drab coloring.

Is the color of the helmet randomized? I see a bunch of different colors in the gallery, and am a bit confused.
