Other than that I just wishes her helmet looked a bit different from the Crusader's, but that's just a nitpick from me. Great mod dude.
At it is, it's pretty powerful while the other feels more comparable to the regular Crusader with a different emphasis.
Her crit heal is utterly ridiculous. Paragon's Pact combined with Heavenly Wrath can fully heal her, which is very broken. Being able to give shield every single turn without any drawback is also very very powerful. There's many way to balanced this hero, give her skill cooldown or limited use for example. Lower her crit heal or disable it completely will also make her far less op.
Her base stats and the other skill is fine. I especially love the Martyr's brand, but please without balancing this hero is too powerful.
Hi. I love the chaplain conceptually, she's the perfect paladin I've always dreamed of, but yes, too strong in her current iteration. Others have commented in regards to her stacking up against base game heroes, but here's the changes I'd personally make to each ability so she can better function with other mod-added classes.
- Radiance, Thrust and Mordhau are all fine. I might personally remove the mark mechanic from radiance and thrust, and replace it with a +torchlight mechanic to radiance and a riposte-breaker on thrust to better illustrate her role as a front-line self-healing character that leads by example and to reduce the overall number of 'setup' two-ability combos she has, but that's just me personally.
- Paragon's Pact: Problematic because it can allow crit-based characters to have no RNG for their abilities turn after turn. It would work better as a +50% crit buff to both characters, to only have a 75% success chance for each, or to make this a 1/battle power.
- Heavenly Wrath (and Crit Effect): Wrath is an incredibly strong skill on it's own that is only truly a problem because the rest of the character's kit is also so strong. Right now her normal turn order would be to buff an ally with Pact and then get a guaranteed mega-aoe crit, healing FAR too much with no rng component to it. There's a couple ways this could be fixed. You could make Heavely Wrath a small restoration-based heal to self (like 4/5/6/7/8 points/rnd for 1 round) and keep the flat 10% max hp heal on crit, or you could drastically lower the reliability. You could accomplish this by either nerfing the accuracy or only providing the heal on kill.
- Fortify: Much like Paragon's Pact, consider limiting this to once per battle. Then, consider making it an aoe that also causes stress to the Chaplain. Being able to strip off every debuff is amazing, but becomes an issue when paired with characters like the Guqin, Paracausalist, or so many others who are self-debuffing damage dealers. When fortify can be spammed, it also means the Chaplain easily falls into the role of a single-button support to help one damage-dealer be overpowered, and that's the antithesis of her overall design and kit. Shielding all of her allies and negating one batch of debuffs would feel like a huge, impactful button where it's all about waiting for the right moment.
- Move Skill: Currently, the character's only real weakness is her mobility if she's ever pushed to the back lines, and as a result a back 1/forward 1 would help an awful lot with situational balance.
Thanks for reading this. I dig her as a three-position support and self-healing tank, and I want to use her in every single playthrough. Right now, it's hard to justify that.
If only there was a Darkest Sizes mod for it. I wonder if the Sizes mod for Female Crusader would work with this one :)
But I think its a bit too powerful for mine own good.
I feel like these skills feel OP
Thrusts ability to hit the third.. spot? (Usually where the skelly alcoholic and arbalest chills) Whatever it is feels very stronk. But I'm not really sure how you can patch that so you can ignore this.
Mordhau's damage mod is very minor compared to her male counterpart. Increase it to -40% perhaps?
Radiance I feel is overpowered in that it is guaranteed. I feel like it should be chance based, similar to the houndmasters stress heal.
It's thanks to both Thrust and Radiance I was able to pull off some wack stuff. (Like fixing afflictions, no longer getting irl heart attacks when encountering skeleton wine tasters.)
But I feel like its making the game too easy.
But.. your the expert, and I'd trust you know best on how to treat this.
Uh, Merry Christmas I guess.

Overall i'm enjoying so much with this mod! Very cool!
I enjoy this class a ton.
