Yeah, you should be able to if you do the following:

1. Open AOE and navigate to the steam workshop tab from the main menu.
2. Click on my mod and then click "Open Directory" at the top right.
3. This should open up the file explorer, from the location it opened navigate to ...\resources\en\sound\taunt.
4. Now just rename each file to start with the number that you want it to work with.
5. After you've restarted the game it should all work as intended.

Didn't realise the mod was broken, updated and should be working now.
